    Nothing!

We loved everything! The property is in the jungle, surrounded by beautiful trees and plenty of wild animals. We saw parrots, monkeys, lizzards, and a massive snake! Which became a highlight of our stay 😂 Very quiet and peaceful place. We loved huge beautiful terrace, homemade breakfast, and the most important - Sabrina and her lovely family, who are taking care of the place. They are truly mesmerizing and adorable people!❤️ We wish we had more time to stay there few more days!💚🌴🌿

The most wonderful place. I have been totally charmed by this family and could have happily spent my whole month in Sri Lanka with them. Immaculately clean, hugely welcoming, respectful and in a peaceful oasis full of monkeys, birds and other creatures. Rooms are lovely to be in, from the comfort of the bed to warm lighting and lovely decor. The communal area is somewhere I could sit for hours looking over the garden. And the more time I spent with the family the more I was totally captivated by how wonderful they are and how they live their lives in touch with each other and the environment around them. It really felt like a privilege that they opened their arms and welcomed me in. Sabrina has a beautiful concept store with the most elegant jewellery and clothing downstairs. I don’t normally write reviews for places that I stay but I really could not recommend this place highly enough.

Perfect stay out of the hustle and bustle! A lovely family and felt welcome and at home. Breakfast was lovely and the morning views within the jungle was beautiful. Saw lots of jungle wildlife. Would definitely recommend!

Everything. We really enjoy here. It is like a small paradise. Beautiful balcony and yard, full of palm trees and sounds of nature. Host family is amazing. They are inspiration.

Where to begin? Just the perfect place for our little family to land after a long flight. The lovely french family welcomed us with open arms, and took such great care of us during our stay. Very clean and spacious rooms. We ended up extending our stay, and already booked a couple of days on our way back before taking the flight home. Delicious breakfast and coffe! Laundry service is possible. The place is located in the jungle but still close to restaurants and beaches. You wake up with all kinds of bird sounds and monkeys. Calm and peacefully. Nice garden to enjoy, and also the terrace so lovely to hang out in. Thank you Jadeon family!!

The escape with Jadeon is a little paradise away from the very busy main street. Travellers like to come back during the same stay for its calm, the amazing veranda with view on the lush garden and the kindness of its hosts. Thank you Jadeon family!

Everything was perfect. We stayed for 5 nights and we liked this place too much so we decided to get back and end our 3 weeks SriLanka vacation with other 3 nights at the Escape with Jadeon. The rooms are very clean (and it is not easy to find something similar in SriLanka in this price range even if on Booking they look good and have great reviews - the reality is different sometimes), the garden is amazing and the breakfast prepared by Sabrina was really good. The owners are always willing to help, they give you precious advice about what you can do in Unawatuna or the surrounding area and we felt like at home during our stay. I really recommend this place.

Quiet hours are from 10p to 7a which means that at 7a you're going to be woken up by noise. Right outside the rooms is a common area and breakfast is served a few feet from your door, and the doors are very very thin. This was also a problem during non-quiet hours, just because there were kids screaming, guests yelling on FaceTimes, etc, which detracted from the peace a lot. Wish the common area wasn't directly outside the rooms, but guests were actively encouraged to hang there and there were some events for kids (not just ones staying there) on the weekend. One of the hosts told us that this place is more for families than 'young people'. I'm 41 but appreciated that haha. Also the address is completely wrong... if you enter it into google or any other app you go to a completely different address. A bit of a hike. We didn't have reception because the area is a little remote so it took a while (and the help of a few locals) to contact the hotel and find the new place, who really weren't very helpful. We suggested they mention that in their 'welcome message' (they reached out to make sure we understood the arrangements re: payment on arrival) but they were not very receptive to this either. Said that they messaged us but maybe it was too late (they messaged after the second time we called them trying to find it). There are also dogs on the property that bark very loudly any time anyone approaches, in case that's an issue for you. Not all rooms have hot water, which is fine.

The property is gorgeous. The grounds are pretty. There's a hammock for chilling. SOME of the staff were super friendly. Wifi is solid enough.
