Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

NetherlandsI reserved two rooms at The Point Mirissa. Both rooms were located on the ground floor; one in the utter right corner and the other one in the utter left corner. I preferred the utter left room. The one on the utter right corner was not equipped with a heater I assume, whereas the other room was.
The staff and owners were very nice and welcoming. Along with fellow hotel guests, we were even invited by the owner to come over and have a lovely traditional breakfast to celebrate New Year (14th of April) collectively. Moreover, this place offers a large common space to relax or chill anytime you want. There's even a refrigerator nearby to cool your beverages. Besides, access to the beach is very near. Lastly, this place offers a very good laundry service.

United States1. Wi-Fi does not work. It only works if you sit by the entrance. Not ideal for digital nomads. 2. No hot water. I paid half the price at other guesthouses, and had hot water. 3. There is a bar nearby that blasts music until 4am. Not the guesthouse’s fault, but not ideal if you want to sleep. 4. If you leave the window open in the bathroom, little bugs come in. We had over 20 in our bed. Once we closed the window, it was no longer a problem…but then the bathroom smelled from all the moisture.
Close to the beach. Bed was comfortable. Nice size room.

BelgiumI think we had some bad luck during our stay. There were works on the accommodation above us so every morning at 8am we were woken up by banging hammers and so on. A closet was not there. The bed made huge noise when my partner shifted in the night. Not a very stable bed but clean bed.
Perfect location and lovely owners. The bed had a fleece blanket and I really don’t like that....I find it nasty. So I asked for a cotton blanket and they gave me 2 small 1 person blankets... not so comfortabel but really nice of them !

Sri Lankathey had overbooked and the room that we booked was not available when we checked in. Also, the alternative room wasn’t even ready at check in time. I believe they got it ready only after we had arrived at the property. There were also no covering sheets on the bed
