The bathroom is a wet bathroom which is quite common in Sri Lanka, but the space did end up feeling a bit damp, especially with the rainfall. I'd recommend opening up the windows when the sun shines to freshen up the room. It worked great for us.

It was a very lovely spot, tucked into the hills behind Ella. It took about 20 minutes to walk there from the center. The hosts were very lovely and the food tasty, with rice that is grown right on the property! The accomodation is quite spacious and you have your own little terrace for breakfast and chilling.

The property had its own veranda, comfy beds, hot water and everything you could reasonably expect for the price. The property is situated a short walk outside of Ella in the hills and is really quiet. We only had the sound of frogs in the evening to help us drift off to sleep. Breakfast was included too which was a bonus. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and you could WhatsApp them any time. We would definitely stay again.

A little further outside of Ella. But we knew that when booking and it can with privacy and quiet and not a long walk in.

We felt we were in a very private area and away from the host family completely. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and always served with a smile. The host was great and he helped us out in anyway he could!

Nothing, road a little rough getting down but we managed in a tuk tuk no worries.

Beautiful spot, quiet location, clean rooms, beautiful sheets and comfortable bed. Family even catered to my partners gluten allergy at breakfast.

Nothing major but the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. This didn't distract from the amazing experience we had staying here though.

The host was so helpful and lovely. Food was fantastic and the location was beautiful ❤️. The room was comfortable and had a great outside space. It was extremely peaceful and set in beautiful countryside. We would highly recommend people stay here. Our son loved their pet dog who was very calm.

Nothing! For the small amount of money paid this really fits our expectations but the hosts are outstanding!

The hosts are amazing, very friendly people! They made an effort for us to feel welcomed everyday and helped us with anything we needed. They breakfast was delicious and they served us much variation! Join the cooking class, a real great experience:)

The only weak thing was the pressure of the water in shower.

I was travelling with my friend and we both loved our stay here! We had our own quite terrace ja every morning we had breakfast there. It was great! The room was super also. Very comfortable bed and pillows! The whole family is so so nice and frienly. We felt like quuens there. Mom cooks a amazing food by the way! Location is 1,5km from the main road and we really liked that. Jungle vibes and we had our own peace. Love it. We loved everything here! Lots of love, Julia & Katri

Really enjoyed our stay at Ella Mount Villa. Beautiful setting away from the business of Ella town, but walking distance to get to the restaurants etc. Very peaceful with birds singing and the breakfast was really delicious! Highly recommend staying here

The host a very good dinner for excellent price. The sorrounding of the house is very beautiful, even in rain. The owner sent us the timetable for the kandy ella train and waiting with dinner even the train was more than 1 hour late.

The breakfast, hosts. On the map not exactly the right location, it shows on the right, but keep going like 100-200 feet forward and you will see. We were leaving 6am, they gave us breakfast in the evening which was great. Only one room, private entrance. They provided an electrical grill and an electrical extension

Located 15minutes away from ella train station. Runs by a family who is hospitable, genuinely kind and will provide whatever you need either a tour or tuktuks. If you are looking for a quite and peaceful place,i highly recommended Ella Mount Villa. Youll enjoy the great view of mountain and tea farm,squirrels and birds around you! It is clean and with hot shower. Youll be surprised as well with the big portion and good food.

The kitchen area is simply unused, very dirty, the bathroom is also very dirty.

The villa is in a very beautiful location, in the middle of nature, surrounded by tea fields, with many different birds. The host was helpful. The rooms are good.

The shower didn’t work properly. It was a bit dirty in the room. The towels were a bit worn and old.

It is a remote, quite place in the middle of forest and close to tea hills. You may hear a calming jungle sounds. The breakfast was good.
