I absolutely loved staying at this hostel! The vibe was incredible super chill, social, and welcoming. It was so easy to meet people from all over the world, and we ended up going out together almost every night as a group. The staff were also amazing friendly, helpful, and always around if you needed anything. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a really good energy. If you're looking for a place where you can meet awesome people and have a great time, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back

The safes in the dorm room need fixing as some of them didn’t work but I managed to find one that did as it wasn’t full.

This is the best dorm room I’ve ever stayed in - large air conditioned room with privacy curtains and bedside plug/light with 2 toilets and 2 (amazing!) showers. The showers had 3 settings and were very spacious with hot water, I was really impressed. Nice breakfast included which consisted of coffee or tea, and toast with eggs and marmalade. Staff are lovely and always greet you with a smile. Then of course there is the view of Mirissa Beach - wow! Just stunning especially for sunrise. Located close to the main beach but also a short walk to Secret Beach which I highly recommend for the most magical sunsets.

Highy recommend this hostel! The dorm is really big, enough space for everyone. Curtains for privacy. Big lockers to put the whole backpack in. The view is insane and the breakfast lovely. The owner is amazing, we even got a welcome juice. Would come back anytime!

Little unit with brand new, modern, creative furniture, with great view to the bay. Very kind and attentive service, Spacious, comfortable balcony to enjoy the ocean breeze, and "the view". Great breakfast, comfortable bed. Extra: They can assist to organize whale watching with pick up.

Stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. An amazing view of the beach from the hostel and the breakfast was also delicious. Extremely budget friendly for a solo traveller and would recommend . The host and his family were very nice people and helped in all aspects

The toilets and showers that are in the dorm are not fully sealed from the outside. Because of this, we opened the door to a surprise a few times (very large moths/insects, a few geckos). This could be easily solved by installing mesh in the gap between the ceiling and the top of the wall.

The staff are absolutely lovely. They are so kind and helpful. The included breakfast is delicious - we had the choice between a western breakfast (toast and eggs) and Sri Lankan (string hoppers and Dahl). Both options included fresh juice and tea or coffee. The view from the terrace is just as nice as in the photos. The dorm beds are comfortable but a bit small. I’m 179cm/5ft’10 and it was bordering on too small for me.

Everything! It was clean, tidy, comfortable and the staff were so friendly! Shower was lovely, views were amazing and it had all the facilities you need. Each morning we got a fresh juice and lovely breakfast - I highly recommend this place. Very happy.

The bed was a bit short for me (184 cm).

I loved the quiet location away from the busy main road. The facilities are great for such a good price. The breakfast was a typical simple breakfast, but good. The caretaker Bimal was super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely consider staying at this hostel again in the future

Great hostel! The host is very kind and helpful, the welcome drink is just splendid! Was able to leave my backpack and pick it up later after checkout. Breakfast was great and includes a refreshing mango drink.

One small point was that there weren't any bins in the room or toilets (and yet signs asking guests not to put toilet paper down the toilet... So where does it go? And what about sanitary products? A bit odd!) Also no soap to wash hands with in the bathroom.

Beds were really comfy, curtains gave privacy, and lockers available for everyone. The view really is special and it's nice being away from the main road. Everything was clean, and cleaned every day.

Very nice host. Very nice and clean dorm, but it is not a typical hostel. There is only one dorm and no social life. You get a nice welcome drink. The view is so beautiful! Beds have curtains.

you can hear the noise from the nightclubs - i do think this is a problem no matter where you stay in mirissa if its close to the beach
