The WiFi could be improved, it only worked well outside and on one half of the room. We couldn’t get connection to use our data so better WiFi would’ve been great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very clean, spacious and modern. Our host Nayomi and her family were very accommodating; every morning we were served a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast (which was delicious), Nayomi helped us book transport throughout our stay, our laundry was done at a reasonable price and Nayomi even helped us get rid of some unwanted frogs that took shelter in our room! This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in Sri Lanka as the hospitality was unmatched and the room was great for the price.

There is nothing to dislike.

The room was very comfortable large and clean. Lovely en suite. The place is very tranquil and quiet. The breakfast is enough to last all day and is very tasty. All the staff , reception and chefs and helpers are all very helpful and friendly. It is a great place to stay off the beaten track.

The WIFI is a bit weak. If you need to do work remotely, you can visit Barista in town and work from there for a faster, stable internet connection.

This hotel is run by the sweetest family! We had everything we needed during our stay: AC, yummy breakfast, a comfy bed, and hot water for the shower. On our first night, we had dinner cooked fresh by the chef at the hotel. They set up a cute table for us under the stars! Breakfast was also very yummy and included with our stay. We had a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of dhal, hoppers or roti, sambol, omelette (optional), fresh fruit, and coffee or tea. It was so delicious and I'm getting hungry just thinking of it. We had a blast hanging out with their family, especially their son! He's the cutest little two-year-old with a ton of energy. We also had a tour of the many viewpoints of Sigirya's Lion Rock by the hotel! Just note that the hotel is about 4km from Sigirya's Lion Rock. I recommend staying here!

We stayed at The View hotel for four magical days. Naomi and her family made sure that we had the most comfortable, pleasant, tasty and fun stay possible. They gave us excellent recommendations for tours, trips and restaurants and made sure we have all the information we needed. They even hosted us in their village and home, it was lovely. A beautiful, well-maintained and clean hotel, with delicious food, Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at the View Hotel. The family that runs the hotel is so sweet and made our stay unique. The room was very clean and offered air conditioning, a very comfortable bed and a perfect hot shower. The food was fantastic and the family helped us organise excursions. We were even able to borrow 2 bikes for free to get around Sirigiya. I can really recommend the View Hotel. It was our best stay in Sri Lanka so far and we hope to come back to this nest soon. ☺️
