Great place for a big family or group traveling together. Located close to yala national park so very convenient for going on safari. We booked a safari trip through Tree Tops, and had a great Safari with a very experienced guided. The house is clean and spacious. The staff provided us with delicious food.

Tree Tops is one of the closer lodges to the Yala National Park. They organised an excellent tour for us and on our return in the evening the fire was burning for our BBQ dinner. We absolutely loved all the food that the chef and his team made for us over the two days. Beautiful breakfasts, lunch and dinner. We got to try so many different Sri Lankan meals and breads. We felt so spoilt, it really was like having our personal chef, thank you for looking after us so well. We also enjoyed staying at the lodge. We thought the rooms looked too big for the three of us however we were very comfortable and could all read in bed without disturbing each other. The air con works well too. Do take the time to go to the roof top lookout as you can see lots of birds, monkeys and water buffalo.

It was great to communicate before our travel to make sure the property, food and anything met our needs. I can't recommend this place enough. The language barrier on site made it a little difficult to express our gratuity but the chef prepared some outstanding food and our party of 5 were really happy. This might have been some of the best homemade food we had while traveling in Sri Lanka. I might add that the proximity to Yala National park was why we chose this venue. Would totally recommend.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Yala! The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The house is very spacious, clean, and modern—perfect for our group of 10 people. The food was delicious, all prepared by the staff, which made our experience even more relaxing. The pool was stunning, and being surrounded by nature made the experience even more special. We spotted monkeys, peacocks, a variety of birds, and even a monitor lizard! Another great advantage is that the house is located just 15 minutes from the entrance of Yala Safari Park, making it super convenient for our excursions. Overall, it was a peaceful and unique getaway, and the staff’s care and attention made it truly memorable. Highly recommend this place!

The safari jeep used was a little bit old and uncomfortable. Communication with the staff was a little challenging as their English was limited but they were kind.

Very close to Yala National Park. Good facilities for large group. We booked one triple and one family room. Ample space for groups to hang out. Very clean. Very nice food too. We enjoyed our stay. They arranged us safari at reasonable rate with breakfast packs. Clean pool and garden. Highly recommend.

The setup was what would be expected from a safari holiday home. There were plenty of beds to choose from and the upstairs rooms can connect allowing large groups to intermingle easily. Additionally the meals were prepared by a cook that made delicious food daily with a variety of tastes and textures. The staff were helpful and attentive to our needs. The top most floor is a viewing deck and if you come there early morning around 5;30am the view and concoction of birds and sounds is a relaxing experience to see and listen. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a different experience.

location is a bit remote, driving to yala park took much longer than expected. there is nothing close to the hotel, everything you need will require drive

Host only accepted cash and not card. Was not a big deal for us but could have been an issue for someone not carrying cash.

Excellent property surrounded by jungle. We saw at least 5 peacocks, several beautiful birds on the property. Staff was great. Appu the cook and his wife made our meals exactly like we wanted including masala chai several times a day. Rooms were very large with multiple beds. Could easily sleep 15-18 people.

Photos of the structure are really well done. Maybe it would be great a little bit of maintenance and more cleaning. There are some things that can be improved, but still ok

The villa is very big and has a lot of potential. The staff is amazing, Appu is a really good coocker, he made us a beautiful and delicious dinner (fish and chicken bbq) and an amazing breakfast. We had Safari with Ravindu and he was amazing! He found all the animals and explained us lot of things.

To us it wasn't a problem at all, but consider there could be some insects and small animals in the accommadtion because of the open character of the villa.

Great service from the staff on site. Special thanks to the host Navin who was very helpfull in arranging transportation and the safari. Nice open villa with good facilities for a group of friends. The provided food was delightful.

A special hotel very well decorated in the middle of the jungle. The staff were amazing, all around us to make us feel good. We wake up early in the morning and an elephant was in the garden!!!! The food was good and the hotel very accommodating to our requests

not the best Wifi at the start of our stay.

Very close to the main entrance to Yala National Parc. Only Three rooms, so very private and peaceful. Very spacious rooms with perfect bathroom, great swimming pool, and comfortable seating areas. And even better was the staff!! Appu is a very good cook and made us wonderful fresh rotti for breakfast, got up at 4.30am to prepare lunch for our safari trip and prepared fantastic curry and BBQ in the evening. Ravidu helped us out organising eveything and made our stay relaxing and without worries. He learned our boys to play cricket in the garden and how the famous board game Carrom. They couldn't stop playing it!! we had a fantastic time at Tree tops, and would return immeditaly if we could!
