How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

My husband complained about the pillows.
Walkable distance from the airport, but they do offer a free shuttle. The free public transport into the city means this is a great option to stay for a quick weekend away. Friendly, helpful staff. The buffet breakfast offered a wide choice, really enjoyed it.

Only thing that could be better was the missing minibar.
For the price it is very good and clean. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also very nice.

Room was quite basic compared to other hotels we have stayed in, in Luxembourg for similar money.
Just outside a bus stop so we could use the free bus service to the centre for the fair we wanted to go to. Bed was comfortable and clean.

We have got a bathroom adopted for disable people. For us it was not very convenient since the water from the shower immediately occupied the whole floor in the bathroom. It was possible to order a pizza from the hotel bar, but it was a frozen pizza. Finally we haven't decided to take it.
Guest kitchen. Good breakfast. As a family we took two rooms, but they were connected, so it worked as one apartment. There was a lot of free space on the parking.

The room was for 2 people but only one chair available. Hard to access the HDMI port on the TV if you need to use it.
Plenty of parking nearby. No noise from the airport. Very easy to get to the city. Staff was nice, there is a common space downstairs and a restaurant available. The room was pretty much ok.

Restaurant shut so had to walk to nearby petrol station which was fine so long as not dark. Building work around the hotel so difficult for my friend to find the entrance when she dropped me off.
Clean, modern, well equipped and walking distance to airport- just a quick stopover so fine.

For the size of the hotel it needs more than one lift. It can take a while to get one at busy times. There is no food available other than breakfast on Saturday and Sunday which would be a problem for some as there are neither restaurants nor shops in the vicinity.
Property was a little way away from the town centre but there was a bus stop very close to the hotel with a frequent service and a journey time of 20 mins . All public transport in Luxembourg is Free so this is a real bonus.

There was no way to have proper coffee. The staff said that there was a coffee machine in the bedroom, but there was not

Smell of drain from the bathroom. Some guests were noisy in the corridor. Air con very weak.
Room was fine for a short stay. Clean bedding and towels. Bar area was good. Great location as close to bus stop and a short walk to airport.

Only minor point is that the floor was wet from mopping when we accessed our room.
Very stylish and clean. Staff were friendly. Had all needed amenities. Excellent value for money. Great location for airport and links to city with free shuttle bus.

It is a bit run down now, badly kept up. The water cooker is decrepit, glasses from ikea??no more dinner during the weekend?? Very bad indeed, wifi is truly AWFUL, yet advertised as very good, the bar is not staffed, such a pity, yet it could be so very good. A pint of lager is sold for London prices
It's always nice to come here, we've been visiting for years now, really. Had some great times with lots of different family members.

Nothing. There are no nice attractions within walking distance of hotel but it's good as a stopover.

Couldn t open the window. Smoking area is next to entrance and cigarette smell comes into the room. Other spot for smokers would be good

You can see the place is aging. Some mold in the shower and around the window.
It's a very practical place. We were just on our way home so we only stayed for a night. It has the basics for a good night sleep. The room is a bit small fpr 3 people.

Late check in time. Very crowded lobby waiting for 3:30 pm checkin. Should have allowed people to check in early to rooms that were ready and ease congestion of lobby. Beds and pillows were average comfort. Room was very small and no second bedding was given for the second bed despite request made at reservation. Construction on road outside made for more difficult and less safe crossing to and from bus stop
Airport shuttle, price, access to free city bus system.
