Fantastic hotel with outstanding service! Upon our midnight arrival, everything was impeccably arranged for our stay. The staff were incredibly amiable. The breakfast was delectable. An exceptional option for accommodations in Riga.

Since it's an older hotel the style of the rooms is starting to look a tad dated. They will likely need to do renovations soon. There's nothing wrong with the rooms, just the style feels dated (older furniture, ancient hairdryer etc).

Excellent hotel! The beds were comfy and they added 2 small beds for the kids that we had requested. It's worth it to pay a little extra to get a room with the view to Old Riga, the view over the river to the city is simply fantastic, especially late at night! Really the main reason we chose this hotel. The bathroom had a full bath, which made cleaning up while traveling with young children easier. An interesting fact: they have a wall with photos of foreign dignitaries that have stayed at the hotel previously, and President Bush along with HRH King George are among the past guests. Neat! Since we were leaving to the airport at 5AM they gave us our breakfast packaged to go, which was unexpected but much appreciated! Thank you for the excellent service.

Fortunately, there were no moments that we did not like. Perhaps the only drawback is one of the internal doors, which did not close well.

I stayed both in old section (family room) and new section. Old section was OLD. Walls were dirty, wifi didnt work, phone didnt work. altough there was nice view.

I really liked the location - only 10minutes walk to old town. Perfect. I liked the rooms that are in new section. They are cosy, nice, clean and very stylish! Staff was really helpful. Beds very comfortable both in old and new section. Bedsheets were with silk, so they were really nice when touched.

If you want to travel back to rhe USSR, the hotel is for you. Starting from furniture, wallpaper and finishing with things that aren't working. We were a company of 4 and the while they added 2 additional single beds, everything else was prepared for 2v : Toiletries, sleepers, small towels, etc. The TV in the room did not work. One of the beds added was in a such poor condition that it should have not been used at all. After we complained, they changed the rooms , however, the air conditioner had a horrible crackling sound and we could not use it during the night. In

One specific issue I encountered was in the bathroom. The shower head was not a good match for its holder, which led to minor but inconvenient problems during use. This might seem a small matter, but in an establishment of Radisson's standard, such oversights can be unexpected and disappointing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying for one night at the Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel in Riga through Booking.com from July 15th to 16th. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly excellent, sitting conveniently close to key attractions, thus providing easy access to the many joys Riga has to offer. The service was another highlight of my stay; the hotel staff were cordial, professional, and extremely helpful, which made my visit considerably more comfortable. The Radisson Blu Daugava is an iconic establishment in Riga, and while it retained a charming essence of its heyday, the hotel showed signs of ageing. Despite its reputation and history, it appears there has been no refurbishment for many years, which left it feeling somewhat outdated. This was particularly noticeable in the decor and furnishings, which while clean and well-maintained, could certainly benefit from a modern upgrade to match today's standards and expectations. Despite some minor drawbacks, my overall experience was pleasant, primarily thanks to the excellent service and prime location. However, I believe the hotel could significantly enhance guests' experiences by investing in some refurbishments, especially in updating the rooms and fixing minor inconveniences like the shower issue. A modern touch to its nostalgic charm could indeed do wonders for the Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel.

We are glad that we have chosen this hotel! It was important for us that there is a comfortable place to sleep for our 6yo child, and here was a good sofa that was prepared for us as a bed by the time of our arrival. We got a spacious room on the 2nd floor with 2 large windows on different sides and with a wonderful view! It was possible to prepare tea and coffee in the room and it was a great plus for us. Bathroom was nice and comfortable, beds we’re comfortable. Parking is next to the hotel building (it cost us 12€ per night; just ask all the information about the parking at the reception). Breakfast - amazing!!! So many different foods and everyone will find what’s good for him! (Our 6yo child doesn’t eat everything, but here he had fruits, croissants and very tasty porridge with strawberry jam.) Only pluses for us during this one night stay!

Everything was perfect. The room was spacious with air-condition, the breakfast tasteful and with variety. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes walk from the old Town. I definitely recommend it.

This is not a 4 star hotel, the facilities are (i.e. breakfast/staff/location) but the room we stayed is in urgent need of upgrading and renovating. Curtains are worn, bathroom silicone missing/has cracks, lots of broken items such as the place underneath the kitchen!

When you make a reservation for a room in the site of hotels like Radisson, you never even think that the room could be in such poor condition. But it turns out to be the reality. We were unpleasantly surprised at this hotel when we saw a completely outdated interior. The room's furniture was old and scratched, far from Art Deco style! Just old furniture. The bathroom was deplorable. You feel like you're in an unrenovated Soviet-era apartment from 1975. Despite the room being tidy and clean, we couldn't shake the feeling that we were in a cheap motel for the price of Radisson. We asked to change the room, but it wasn't done. Later, they explained that they have renovated rooms as well, but the majority were not. I believe it's unfair to sell rooms of this condition at a price that matches the cost of much better rooms in the city.
