It was very cold in the room and the bed was quite hard. Also, the room we stayed in was on the ground floor and right next to the common area so in the evening it was quite loud when there were people chatting.

Amazing view on the medina on the terasse, great hosts and extremely friendly. Mohammed and Latifah were great!

the signage to find the hotel will probably be updated by the time you visit, but if not, here is how to find it: 1) do not go past the gate/entrance at bab rcif - go along the last possible wall/corridor perpendicular to the gate entrance on the right hand side of the entrance to bab rcif 2) when this corridor dead ends after about 15-20m, turn to your right 3) go past one corridor on the right hand side, turn right into the 2nd possible corridor 4) the door will be about 10-15m down on your left and has a doorbell and a security camera above it

Mohammad and Latifa are not married but they are both amazing hosts. Latifa is so energetic and kind and kept offering us tea, and Mohammad showed us around the neighbourhood and let us change rooms to have separate beds which was more convenient for us. Both very friendly and keep the place looking good. The location is also great and quite quiet which is nice in such a busy city.

We were feeling in home. The attention was amazing, Mohamed and Latefa made us feeling family always with a beautiful smile, trying to help us as much as possible, we had good WiFi in our room and hot water all the time, the location is great

we had some trouble with our booking and the owner Mohammed was unstable and frankly quite paranoid. We asked to wait a day to make sure the money wasn't taken twice from our account and he accused us of greed, mistrust and stupidity We were forced to call booking after 30 minutes going around in circles. Later when we left he swore at my friend for trying to clear up some confusion with money. During our stay he was sickly sweet nice and specifically asked us to leave a nice review. He seemed genuinely quite unstable, but not threatening, and also actually helpful when in good mood. If nothing goes wrong, it could be a great stay, but if something goes wrong it might be a frustrating experience. Get some popcorn ready for his response

we think the hostel is really good value, as it is a bit shabby, but fair enough for the price. there is a beautiful terrace and the location is great. You will probably get lost looking for it, but its the classic medina experience, don't hesitate to call, as they will come and find you were you are. we had a lovely morning with the owners brother playing cards in a local coffee shop.

Convenient location, be wary that Google Maps may lead you to closed gates of the Medina if you're arriving late at night! The staff are very kind and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. My partner was feeling ill and they very kindly brought us tea. Strongly recommend!

There was nothing not to like.

The energy of this hostel is exceptional. The staff is very helpful and they became good friends over the stay. As a traveler exploring a new country, you feel extremely welcome and taken care of.

When we arrived we were told that the room we booked was not available yet as there is a guest staying there for one more night. Instead they seperated us into two different rooms for that night and we again had to pack our stuff and move it to the room we originally booked the next day which is unnecessary added stress. Usually I expect to stay in the room I booked for the whole duration I booked it and not be moved around however comfortable for them. The staff. One lady working there was in charge of tending to the guests and helping with requests and issues. However, communication was impossible as she neither speaks english nor is she able to read when we tried using google translate. This became an issue when we gave her cash to pay for the remaining city tax fee. She took the money, went somewhere, came back without it and demanded more money (at least that's what we understood from her gestures). She was laughing while we were trying to find another staff to resolve this issue and explain the situation. There was also staff knocking on our door at random times during the day/night but it seemed they never actually wanted anything from us which was confusing. Additionally, it is not possible to lock the door to your room so anyone can just walk in. We have found that the staff was using the bathroom in our PRIVATE ROOM once. We caught them as we entered our room. Another night when we were trying to sleep, the staff were extremely noisy long after midnight (it was already 1.30am) and it was impossible to sleep. This is just some of the issues we had during our stay. I would not stay here again.

Great central location. You leave the door and are almost in the middle of the shopping streets. The rooms were okay for the price paid. Not very big but seemed to be clean enough and for sleeping only it's alright. The rooms really are in need of renovation though.

Very nice place and amazing hosts! Localization is perfect, just in the middle of old Medina. The room was cozy and comfortable. Mohamed was very helpful and Latifa gave us mint tea every evening. Strongly recommend this place to stay in Fes :)

It was noisy until midnight or 1am every night. Every night we put air conditioner on and fell asleep and when we woke up, there was no light, electricity or wifi in our room. It was all back to normal after we came back. The bed was as hard as the floor. One morning I noticed a cockroach on the floor.

Good location in a way, cos it was close to many attractions but not for the faint of heart - it was quite worrying at night. Great price for a bedroom with a private bathroom and air conditioner in the room! The owner was always ready to help us with any issues.

Literally the only thing would be not having a sign for the accommodation can make it a little tricky to find the first time.

Came as a stranger, left as a brother! Great vibe and never felt so accomodated for- beautiful interior, amazing staff and great rooms for the price. Everyone who came through was so nice and friendly, it really made our trip to Fes memorable 💖 the place Is cool during the day which is nice and also quiet from the busy streets nearby! Staff went above and beyond for us at every turn and activity.
