Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe riad is located in the Medina and it feels safe at all time of the night to walk around. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. They will do whatever they can to assist you. The environment is very clean. Breakfast is abundant and tasty. Naima, the lady that serves the breakfast, is the best part of the experience. She is sweet and will treat you as a lovely Mother 💕

CanadaTraditional riad with lovely hosts, they treated us like family and we felt sad leaving. They made us miss Rabat more than anything else we saw, did in the city. Medina is small(er) and cozy and nice.

RomaniaI used this riad for only one night, during our trip in Morroco. Best decision in this area. Breakfast is very good and enough. The room was enough heat during the night ( i was in March ). Staff is very friendly!

SlovakiaDon't expect any privacy. Soundproofing was not yet a thing at the time when this structure was built :-) Your bedroom and your bathroom have windows to the common courtyard, and you can hear any sound people make.
This is an amazingly beautiful place with super-friendly (I would even say too much) staff. In the heart of the medina, close to the train station and to the Umayya fortress. Breakfast is free.

United KingdomI would have liked my own front door key to come and go as I please (but the staff will let you in at any time).
Dar Yanis is a wonderful place located in the Medina and only 15 minutes walk from Rabat-Ville. You're close enough to the markets and action but just far enough away for a good night's sleep. The Dar is in great condition and very comfortable. The intricate tiling and fixtures still looking great. The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was pretty decent. The sun-terrace is also great for relaxing with sunbeds and tables.

MoroccoI wish I could have stayed longer, but it was booked.
The staff was incredible. Adil and Nayeema went out of their way to make me feel at home. I have diabetes, and as soon as they knew they made an effort to meet my dietary needs. Adil helped carry things when I was leaving. The view of the balcony from my room was pretty and relaxing. The location is near Mohammed V, so it's close to 2 exit points. Great place. I will definitely stay again since I love coming to Rabat.

CanadaOur bathroom was pretty small
We loved our stay here! The staff went out of their way to make our stay so comfortable (French is the language to use; not much English spoken). Breakfast was good and filling: coffee (or tea), a pastry, bread with jam or honey, and traditional Moroccan breads. The location is right in the heart of the Medina but we didn’t hear a sound at night. Lovely terrace. Highly recommended. We look forward to coming back soon.

United KingdomGreat location inside the medina and walking distance to everything, including Rabat Ville railway station. Adil is a very friendly and helpful host, and the breakfast is good, varied and includes fruit. The room was excellent with a comfortable bed, a great shower, and has direct access to the sunny roof terrace. Great value for money and highly recommend.

United KingdomThis Riad is not for you if you are looking for a typical Western European-style hotel with modern amenities. The rooms are small and dominated by a large bed. The furniture is old and functional and if you are concerned about privacy, the doors to your room and bathroom are tiny. Additionally, if you are bigger or having issues with climbing stairs, this might also not be for you, since the staircases are narrow and steep.
If you are looking for a true Moroccan experience in the heart of the medina, this is your place. Don't be alarmed when you arrive, as this Riad is in a small back alley surrounded by flowers and plants. The first thing you will notice, next to the welcoming staff, will be the dining area, the center of the riad. This open terrace goes through the entire building and has an opening at the top, flooding the Riad with light and cool breeze. The rooms are small and only separated by a small door from the terrace. This might lead to waking it up in the morning because birds fly through the terrace. The room is dominated by a large bed. The remaining furniture is functional and has the typical wear and tear. Don't expect any modern amenities. Hence I would recommend only a few nights or making it your base if you want to explore. If you want to relax a bit you may want to go to the open roof and enjoy outside dining. The breakfast is nice and fair in terms of pricing. It's freshly prepared for you in the morning. Wifi is readily available but spotty on the roof.

United StatesThe bed is a little firm. Ringing the bell to come back to the property feels like you’re intruding on the owners but not a deal breaker.
The location of this property is excellent. Easy walk from the train station and easy to get around town. The owners are kind and genuine. The price point is awesome. Really appreciates the egg omelette and yogurt at breakfast. Despite language barriers the owners are easy to communicate with.

NetherlandsAbsolutely nothing.
It is a beautiful characteristic riad. It was very clean, the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great and abundant. The location is in a dead end street of a main pedestrian thoroughfare of the medina. Close to the central market: where you can eat well, and also easily take a taxi or tram. At night it was very quiet. And the bed/mattress was very comfortable.
