Traditional hotel. Management very helpful and friendly. Looked after us very well. Price was very competitive. Views from terrace is nice Breakfast is plenty and their tea is delicious. Please note that parking is away from the premises but safe.

You can definitely smell the toilets, but that is pretty frequent

Friendliest and most helpful staff I've come across all trip. And the bar is already high, it is a super welcoming country. Great view from the dining room as well.

It wasn't a big problem but I couldn’t find the hotel right away, but the locals told me how to get there.

There is hot water, a tasty and filling breakfast, a clean mattress, friendly staff, a good view of the city of Idris.

Unfortunately when I tried to have a shower in the morning the water was not hot but I did not ask the owner to remedy this at the time and Im sure he would have. If you had to complain you could say the room was dark with no view but you could go and sit upstairs in the lounge which had a great view. It suited us fine as an interesting place to stay near Volubilis.

The property was very close to the taxi area and parking. It was very close to the markets. The owner was very attentive and provided us with free mint tea and biscuits on arrival. He made sure we had enough blankets and offered the reverse cycle airconditioning for heating. Very comfortable beds. Although the bathroom was outside our room it was for us alone and was clean. There was toilet paper. The wifi worked flawlessly for 4 of us. The room was amazingly quiet for being so close to everything.

Very helpful and friendly manager helped us with our bicycles up and down the stairs. Comfortable warm bed. Secure bicycle parking. Excellent location.

Unfortunately breakfast was from 8-10 but the host came at 9, we waited for more than half an hour and finally he arrived, we don't have any idea why, he just said sorry!

Nice location in a village just close to Volubilis, room was just ok with bathroom outside (but private)! Breakfast was really good!

The receptionist was kind and polite. The room a good size and facilities all working and cleaned to a good standard. The view from the resaurant and terrace over-looking the town is fantastic.

Maybe, being low season the hotel lacked a bit of atmosphere.

No nonsense but very effective stuff, no hustle. The person in charge allowed me an early check-in. close to the bus/taxi stations

Absolutely nothing apart from not staying longer.

Hamza (the owner) is an excellent host as are the rest of his staff. Helpful, forward thinking and so obliging. They could not do enough for us. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy car parking a couple of minutes away and an open air market and many restaurants very close by within a 3 minute walk. The rooms have been newly upgraded and the restaurant is ideal. The breakfast is one of the best we have had and for the price do not expect a 5* hotel, you are not paying 5* prices but you do get a 5* service and welcome.

Aziz went out of his way to make us feel at home. Lovely breakfast. Aziz even got up extra early so we could get to Volubilis very early. Immaculately clean bedroom and bathroom. Excellent location. Perfect place.

Room is very tired. Bare wires in several locations. Shower hose broken. No vehicle access and parking is 100 metres away in market square (2€ a night)

Though it was the cheapest in town it was the most expensive on our 4 week trip so far in morocco. And in comparison we had so much nicer places that would offer included breakfast, great views, cosy rooms and/ or comfy beds. Neither of which we experienced at Diyar Timnay. So the rating might be a bit bias.

Good location for visiting Volubilis. Nice owner. OK for one night. Cheapest option in town.
