How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Booking.com's service options are just the host's idea. (I means 'nothing', No breakfast, No airport service, No tour, etc) He speaks English well, and he changes his words well. He tried to understand in English, but since it was disadvantageous for the host, he ended up saying that he didn't know English well. So he had a Moroccan guest who could speak English translate for him. Haha. It's funny. And regardless of the discount on Booking.com, the accommodation asks for a certain amount in Moroccan currency. Credit cards are not accepted. There are cats, so please be aware if you have allergies.

Breakfast started at 9:30 which is crazy late so you will miss that if you have/want to leave early. The location is very close to beach but a few km to the medina (old town). The bed was very uncomfortable (uneven mattress). There was no light by the bed so had to turn on the lamp in the ceiling to get any light. It cost extra for towel. Overall it is ok for that price but far too overrated.
The hostel was very clean (both bedroom and bathrooms) and it was close to the beach.

In reality, this is an apartment for some bros to work on other things and they happen to rent out some beds. While they are nice, I wouldn’t call it professional. Bathrooms were very smelly and the shower has no curtain which means the whole thing gets soaked when someone has a shower. But there’s also a toilet in there? The guys are up at all hours working on computers and then sleep during the day either in the rooms or on the couch? Kitchen is also not well equipped or cleaned.
They guys running the hostel are really nice. They have a washing machine that is free to use.

It’s essentially a 3 bedroom flat shared between 10+ people. 2 bathrooms (only 1 shower)
Location!! 15 walk from the train station and the bus stop to MED Tangier port The staff is super friendly and reachable

This place doesn't really feel like a proper hostel. It's basically just an apartment with rooms set up as dorms. There's no real common area to hang out, chat, or meet people. No game room or fun activities either. You can't come and go whenever you want – the hours are pretty limited, and the place feels kinda dull. The rooms don't have lockers to keep your stuff safe, and there aren't power outlets or reading lights near each bed. It's okay if you just need a place to crash for one night and that's it. But if you're looking to meet other travelers, hang out, or stay for a while, this ain't the spot for you.
I found the price really appealing, and the surprisingly high ratings made me want to book it, but I was disappointed with the place. On the bright side, the staff were helpful and generally nice.

The bed was awful. Just plain awful. This is like someone’s apartment. So curfew is 12am so you can be let in.
The host try’s his best and is nice. Lots of food options. Lots more to do in the area after dark

This is advertised as a hostel but it isn’t a hostel, the owner rents 9 beds from a 3 bedroom apartment. There is no staff or security on site, guests are expected to buzz in other guests. The only way to communicate with the owner was through WhatsApp and he was not very responsive. Air conditioning was broken (not provided as promised) and there were no fans or other ventilation. Owner made no attempt to remediate after asking. No instructions for how to lock/secure belongings in the room and when I asked the owner he was very inappropriate and upset that I locked my door as he said that he didn’t have a spare key onsite to let in the repair staff. The area is unsafe to walk around and is far from the main attractions.
The owner (Omar) picked me up from the bus station. Wifi connection was very strong for working remotely.

Everything is bad. Starting from cleanliness bis noise and smoke the whole night.
The only advantage is the location.

This property is Entirely improperly run! There is only One key (1) and I was locked in the apartment for an hour upon arrival (the owners went out) Contrary to the No Pets rule; there was a cat living in the apartment! Guests are not given blankets (only paper thin sheets) I asked repeatedly and was brushed. The building maintained man was confrontational and Abe the impression that a hostel should not be allowed in the building.
Only that the apartment was new .
