We stayed for 3 nights. It has a lot of options where to seat or enjoy the sun. It has very beautiful garden, and backyard with palm trees. Every morning we had a decent breakfast. Also we ordered dinner from the host. Everything was very delicious, 3 dinners - 3 different meals. Muhammad was very hospitable, and if we needed something he was there to help. Clean and spacious room. From the terrace you can see a beautiful snowy mountains. If you travel without the car, please allocate more time to get the by private or shared taxi (20 MAD per person for shared from Ourzazate to Skoura)

We had a wonderful, relaxing 3 night stay here. Mohammed, the owner took us on very interesting tours of the palmeraie and Kasbah Amridil. He also suggested other places for us to visit nearby. The room was quite basic but we slept very well and we loved the roof terrace outside the room. The food was lovely. We had dinner by the open fire and breakfast in the beautiful garden. Definitely recommend!

Mohammed and his family make sure that you feel at home at La Palmeraie! Mohammed gave us very good suggestions about where to go and what to visit. The place is simple and charming. We had an amazing dinner at the fire, the food was lovely and the atmosphere very nice. The location is nice, with the palmeraie at the back, where you can have nice walks. We highly reccomend it!

Excellent welcome with mint tea and dates in lush green garden. Couscous dinner with fresh home-made goat cheese. Owners are fluent in French and speak good English. Nice walk through the palm yard. We felt home away from home!

Air-con would have been nice and the bathroom was functional but basic. But that's it really, it didn't really bother me.

The Kasbah La Palmeraie is a very authentic Maroccan small hotel. OK it's not as opulant as the Es Saadi in Marrakesh but it's a fraction of the price. Mohamid and his family are very welcoming, the food is excellent and there is lots of it. It's in a great location next to the Palmeraie if you are going to explore though go with Mohamid else you will get lost. He is also a mine of intresting Information. His English is pretty good but if you can speak a bit of French or even Arabic that will help. I always seek out small hotels that are independently run as you get a much better feel for a place and it's culture. If you just go to big chain hotels then you may as well be anywhere. I would definitely stay there again, it's the real Marocco. The

Skoura is a lovely laid back place to stay if you want to get completely off the tourist trail in the middle of the desert. A very welcoming place to stay with a nice room with the mod cons and a fantastic place to stay for ultimate peace and quiet. Muhammed is such a warm and great host and his breakfast with jams made on his farm is awesome. When back in skoura I will stay here again.

Beautifully located in the Palmerie. The hosts made us feel at home and were personable and easy going. The dinner and breakfast was fantastic!! We loved the terrace and hospitality of the entire family here. Going for a walk in the Palmerie in the evening was also a very beautiful experience.

Wonderful genuine family Kasbah on the edge of the palmerie so a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay with Mohammed and his family. The room was spacious and everything is very clean and comfortable. The terrace was a great spot to get some sun or shade and just chill or watch the sunset. We ordered breakfast 30drm which was very good and came with a big jug of coffee which was appreciated. The dinner was also generous and tasty using home grown vegetables and fruits etc. Worth the 80drm for the 3 courses and could feed 2 people really. If like us you need to stay somewhere authentic,quiet and with a great host then look no further. Mohammad even dropped us off at the station which was really appreciated.
