We booked with a private bathroom but that bathroom was actually two floors below the room. Slightly uncomfortable beds.

The bathroom is a bit small, but unique. It’s an experience in itself. And in any case, everything is so magical that, in the end, it doesn’t matter.

The property is beautiful, with an amazing location in the heart of the Medina. Moha and Abdul are exceptional hosts: charismatic, welcoming, and always available. After just a few hours, you already feel at home. When I return to Marrakech, I’ll definitely choose Hostel Dar Ben Youssef again!

It is a great hostel in the medina. The hosts Ismaël and Abdul are very nice and they will help you wherever they can. Each room has his own toilet and douche. Also the breakfest is more than enough.

There are a lot of stairs (typical for a riad) the showers are on the bottom level, breakfast is on the top- so you will need to walk them all. Toilets on all levels. Cleanliness was good, not great. A little tricky to find initially. I do recommend this one and I’d stay here again.

This was truely a home away from home. We felt welcome, comfortable,safe and relaxed in this Riad. The location is good, central but not too far from the edge. Has food right next door and a great breakfast spread. There is a lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast and relaxing. The staff have great tips and advice and will recommend and direct you.

after midnight some streets on the medina center are closed, so be aware of the local "helpers"/"guides", they will charge you a lot after getting you to the hostel, and can get very persistent.

The staff were very friendly. The terrace was one of the highest in the area meaning the view was exceptional. Owing to the fancy decor and fast WiFi, the foyer and terrace were great for both working and socialising! The location is very central in the heart of the madina and those working around the area are also very friendly. The hostel is very beautiful and the facilities are clean, well kept and good quality. I really enjoyed my time there.

I didn't like that one of the employees demanded a resort fee, I know he cheated me. Resort fee 2.5 euros per day per person, if the hotel has such fees they should have informed about it in advance and I should have received a bill for it which I didn't. And the employee informed me that he wouldn't give me such confirmation.
