It was an absolute pleasure to stay with fatima and the riad workers. The riad is super well located and you can find easily from one of the main entrance. We reveived a comment from german couple right away arriving and it was totally right. Beautiful, clean and well managed. Really, 5 stars

Fatima and her dedicated team manage a supberb riad. The location is excellent, at the outer edge of the medina and a short walking distance from a gate leading to a big parking area (paid). Everything in this riad is nice and comfortable: The decor in common areas and the rooms, the beds, the terrace etc. Wifi is very good as well as the breakfast. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere for accommodation.

Pretty riad, lovely terrace, beds are really comfortable. Rooms are spacious, bathroom is lovely with good water pressure. Even a kettle is provided - nice touch Great location on a quiet street on edge of medina Friendly & helpful staff Note that rooms are cleaned & towels changed daily. The housekeeper is lovely & extremely thorough. Not something we are used to or expect, appreciate the work involved but seemed unnecessary to us to be done every day - lots of extra work for housekeeper! Also be aware that you will return to find windows of your room wide open. Important to keep the place aired we understand but it took us by surprise

Beautiful, homely Raid. Everything felt new and well cared for. The beds were comfty, the shower was very powerful and hot. The terrace was so lovely to sit out on in the evening. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The location was ideal and easy to get to on foot from the bus station. Highly recommend!

Great location in the old town and a beautiful riad with a lovely little terrace. Fatima was very hospitable and made an amazing breakfast each morning. Ahmed (who was on duty at night) was very friendly and helpful with any small issues/questions. Would love to return one day and stay here again

Fatima's hospitality was unmatched. She gave us good advice, made a dinner reservation for us, and even offered to barter for us when we couldn't get a good price on our own. Her warm goodbye made a lasting impression that we'll always think of when reminiscing about Morocco. We loved the breakfast in a beautiful little room with colorful tiles and comfortable cushions.

We spent five days in Riad Dar Abi and it was fabulous. Fatima, Ahmed and Fatima looked after us so well. The Riad is spotlessly clean, linens were changed every day. The food was delicious and plentiful. The rooms are large and have very comfortable beds. The roof terrace is a super chilled space. It is in a quiet area but a very short walk from the heart of the Medina. Fatima made us feel so welcomed and provided lots of really helpful information on what to do in the area. She genuinely makes you feel like a long lost relative, even checked that we had got to the airport safely after we checked out 💕

Excellent riad, convenient location in medina, public parking located nearby, clean, comfortable. It has an extra heater so it was also very warm. Hosts are excellent and breakfast was awesome. The best riad we have been on our trip around Morocco.

Dar Abi is the perfect location to explore Essaouria. With magnificent hospitality at its core. The facilities were amazing. Room was Supernice. Rooftops was nice. The personal touch and care of Fatima showing throughout everything. We needed to leave early to the airport and shemade the cutest to go breakfast boxed for us. Extra cuddos to the nicest nightguard, that made our stay even nicer.

This was our first stop in Morocco and we absolutely loved our accommodation and also Essaouira. Room was nicely decorated, comfy bed, super clear bathroom, and Fatima is a great host.

As the riad is in the medina, a taxi canot drop you directly in front of it. Instead, they will drop you off at a nearby road, and you will need to walk around 10 mins. Not a big deal (and it’s the same for all riads in the medina), just something to keep in mind. You will need to carry your luggage up the stairs (like in all riads, I guess). When we arrived, we had to wait a bit for someone to open the door, and then had to wait a bit for Fatima to come and check us in. Some slight delay but it wasn't critical.

The riad was very nice, decorated in a local style and with a nice rooftop where you can relax. It was quiet at night. A bit cold in the evening (end of December), but we asked for a heater and it helped. Fatima was very friendly and helpful. She greeted us with Moroccan tea and pastry, explained what to see/do (it would be wasier if you known a bit of French), helped us deal with a faulty luggage lock, and even gave us a little gift on the last day :). Storing our luggage on the check out day wasn’t a problem. Fatima Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of local bread, pancakes, pastries and eggs. Essaouira is a small town, so the location is good and everything is within walking distance.

Essaouira has been our favourite city during our trip to Morocco, largely thanks to Fatima, whose warm welcome and support have been invaluable from the very beginning. The riad is exceptionally clean and beautiful, providing a restful sleep. The breakfast is also delightful

The Riad is beautiful and very comfortable, it is situated in the Medina but in a quieter area which allowed us to have a restful sleep. However, the best part of the Riad are the people, Fatima and her team are amazing, they made my partner gluten free pancakes and bread every morning, they disinfected my wounds (after falling from a quad), and walked with us to the taxi pick up location at 6am!
