We were met at the airport and driven to the centre of Marrakech, where Abdullah met us and walked us to the riad. It is very close to the hustle and bustle of main square Jamaa el-Fnaa, but very peaceful and quiet. The breakfasts were wonderful and the sun loungers on the rooftop were a great place to relax after sightseeing. I’d definitely recommend the half day tour of Marrakech to get your bearings and the day trip to the Atlas Mountains, both organised by the riad. We had a wonderful 4 night stay, thank you

Our stay at Riad Dar Hamid was truly special. Abdul was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit, always making sure we had everything we needed. Najat gave us a wonderful Hammam experience. The riad itself is beautifully decorated with local touches, spotless, and perfectly located for exploring the city. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for.

We didn't have hot water one morning. HoweverX they fixed the issue and after couple of hours the hot water was available.

Breakfast was hearty for a full day right next to the main square. Riad is right in the middle of all the action but still quiet and just a few minutes away from the chaos. The hotel staff are the nicest people with the most laid-back energy. We felt more at peace just being in their company.

The location, a few minutes walk from Jemma El-Fnaa, is superb. The room was clean and the whole building seemed traditional with carved doors and originall furnishings. (Our room was perhaps smaller than others in the riad, but for the price and the location just what we wanted.) Breakfast was very good (fresh yoghurt, omelette, olives, bread, honey and ham, fresh orange juice and coffee), especially as we were able to sit in the morning sun at the top of the building. It's well worth using their hammam; friendly professional staff who were very concerned to ensure we enjoyed the treatment. In fact all the Riad staff were very helpful, interested in their guests, and went out of their way to fit with our requests.

This was the perfect stay in Marrakesh. I have been lucky to travel to Marrakesh three times and this was by far my favourite - all because of this lovely riad and in particular Abdullah! The best host I have ever come across.

Only downside is that there can be noise from other guests as the architecture is fairly open (of course not the fault of the staff) - so I would bring earplugs if this a concern.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad. It was easy for us to find from the airport (we got a bus). The riad itself is beautifully designed, with three floors including a lower hall and rooftop. On arrival, we had dinner at the restaurant on the rooftop, which was delicious. The room is perfect, with sufficient storage, bed is very comfortable, and shower and bath are great. Breakfast spread is also very generous and varied. We also enjoyed the hammam experience with a massage, which was wonderful. The best part about our stay was the incredible service from Amine and Abdullah, as well as the chefs and housekeepers. They were very friendly and attentive and gave our stay a personal touch. We'd be delighted to stay again.

The host of Riad Dar Hamid Hotel & Spa, Amine, could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The Riad is done a series of very small side streets from the main square. Initially I found this to be a little overwhelming but once I was familiar with how to get from the square to the Riad, I felt very confident moving around. Amine and a porter met me at my previous accommodation with a cart (a car cannot travel down the alleyways). They were very kind and friendly. The Riad was very clean and matched the photos online. I found the breakfast on the roof to be lovely and it was so peaceful sitting there watching the sun rise (sunrise in December is about 8:20am). My flight from Marrakech to Casablanca unexpectedly changed to 6:05am. You have to be at the airport 3 hours beforehand. This meant leaving the Riad at 2:30. Amine arranged my airport transfer and walked me out to the waiting car at 2:30am which was greatly appreciated. He went above and beyond to make me feel safe and very welcome at Riad Dar Hamid Hotel & Spa.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the bathroom lighting could be brighter, and the bathroom could use a fresh coat of paint.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this Riad. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to Jemaa el-Fna. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had heating, which was great for cooler nights. We loved the delicious breakfast with lots of variety each day. The hot shower was excellent and Abdul, the host was warm and very helpful. We also enjoyed the Hammam spa in the riad , a great way to relax. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this Riad!

A little hard to find without Google maps. It would have been nice to have signs on the walls so you k or you are making the correct turns and going I the correct direction.

Super nice staff, great food and clean large comfy rooms! Beds were firm which I really liked! Nice traditional decor!!
