Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWe could not find fault - we loved it.
This was an absolute gem to find. From the second we set foot into the Riad the staff made us feel like family. We’ve never stayed anywhere that the owners come around to everyone at breakfast to check-in that you are well and have all that you need. We could not recommend the Riad Dar Saad enough. If you want to be close enough to the action, to feel like you have a special place to rest after a long day and you want hosts that cannot do enough for you, this is the spot for you.

United KingdomWe had to ring the door bell every time , on our return to hotel , so they can open front door for us . Hammam is not worth the money , there is not steam room , we were frozen in hammam room, while they been pouring warm water from jag to rinse us from soap, very weird experience. Internet is very slow .
Location and staff were great

Germanyproperty hasn't aged well (mold in the bathroom, a shower that only gives you no water or boiling hot water, dripping water from skylight), service (terrible spa experience, no big towls/ shower mat, no extra blanket for extra bed), room is very dark and looks bigger in pictures
great location, beautiful roof top terrace, friendly staff and good food in the hotel, plus a lot of cute cats running around the Riad

BelgiumNothing big, just the bed that is rather small and with light covers (can be cold during winter), the shower that splashes a lot and the cats that sometimes can be interfering.
Great Riad for a night or two in Marrakech. The location is excellent, close to the best souks, restaurant and rooftops. Easily accessible (even at night) with a friendly and welcoming personnel, a comfortable night and great breakfast.

RussiaNegative: - we were tired after long trip and decided to go to the Hammam in this Riad. We paid 135 DHS per person for 30 mins. We have been in hammams before so we knew what to expect. In the reality hammam had NO steam at all, it was NOT hot (we were cold there). So basically it was just a big room with a simple shower and NOTHING more. When we asked to make it more hot they refused. We were very disappointed. After when we complained about it to the owner of this Riad (Spanish guy) he didn’t apologized , he just made us feel stupid trying to convince us that this is the way Morrocon Hammam is supposed to be - just a cold shower for 135 DHS. He didn’t even offer a discount for that terrible experience, we paid fully for a shower - the same that we had in our room. - Room was good in general - but when we entered the room first we found a street cat inside our room and this suspicious yellow liquid in our bath tube. When we showed it to the owner of the Riad he again didn’t apologized but started to make some stories about the liquid coming out of AC which didn’t make it better anyway.
We stayed in Riad Dar Saad only 1 night but went through all spectrum of emotions from positive to extremely negative. Positive : - very beautiful Riad, even better than on photos, very nice area where they serve breakfast - Food is good and they even have their own restaurant so you can eat any time of the day (not like in other Riads we stayed)

United StatesWe had to change rooms 3 times since we got there. One of those nights I know we notice we were off a night and had to book an extra night and had to change rooms but that was my only complaint.
Breakfast was amazing! I just wish they had dinner available earlier!

NetherlandsThe overall style is very classic and a bit cluttered. There is so much going on that it sometimes looks more like a museum than a B&B. I personally enjoy a calm, clean and more modern environment to unwind from the day in the busy city. We booked a suite and although it was spacious, the bathroom was not up to par. Also, the open area that the room looked out on, was very messy and not well maintained. The riad has remodelling plans so this might be considered. Especially for a suite, the bathroom needs to be bigger and way more modern. With that said, style is personal and the staff and location make up for a lot and we had a great time.
The location was absolutely fantastic. Direct access to the Souks, around the corner from El Fenn and across the street from Bacha Coffee (closed till 21 November). The rooms were really quiet and the beds and pillows were really comfortable (I get backaches easily, which wasn't the case during our stay). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and there was always someone from staff present (24 hours a day). Every time we had a transfer booked, someone from staff would walk us to the corner of the street where the car would stop which made us feel very safe.

GeorgiaWindow of room was coming out in lobby, all night you could hear staff conversation, telephone rings. Noise of up floor toilet was audible. No proper ventilation. Due to that owner offered free excess to hammam.
Location was excellent, hotel was well designed.

United KingdomWe felt that the property was lacking in amenities that would make a family stay truly comfortable, such as high chairs and plug socket covers, and that overall the Riad could do with a bit of a attention as it was looking tired in places. FurthermOverall we felt that it was expensive and not good value for money
Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Riad - the location is excellent for exploring the medina and the staff, in general, are very friendly and try to help as much as possible. The family suite we stayed in, while basic, was comfortable and breakfast, although very basic, was pleasant
