Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe family of Riad Wlidati were lovely. Tajah and Muhammed were both friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. We loved the great mountain view from the terrace and the rooms were comfortable. Location is excellent as well; we could walk to everything we wanted.

Wonderful place to stay at, run by a sweet family. Great location. The host Taha made an effort to make breakfast earlier because of my flight back. Felt safe travelling alone.

HungaryThere was a construction ongoing, close to the riad. It is not the host's fault, but it was a bit loud. (Bonus point for the host, they talked with the workers to not start the work early, so the guests can have a good rest)
A very nice family hosting the riad, they were super friendly, doing everything for our comfort. The breakfast was delicious and their tea amazing. We got good recommendations for exchanging money, what activities to do, where to eat and other useful things. When I say feels like home, I mean it, I even had the honor to play some Fifa matches with the guys.

HungaryOur stay at Riad dar wlidati was amazing. The hosts were incredibly nice and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we have the best stay. We got great recommendations from them on what to do in the city, where to exchange money… We got to spend time with them on the roof drinking tea (which was the best moroccan tea ever). We even got a tutorial on how to make it. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. We will be back soon.

CanadaLocation is a bit difficult to find, call the number of the property when you arrive and should be very easy as the staff is very helpful.
The staff was really helpful. Made it feel like home. I had some requests to be fulfilled before I checked in and they fulfilled all of them which was really impressive.

United KingdomThis is a family run riad and it's perfect for travelers to Marrakesh. The renovations were fresh and the whole place was light and airy with lovely decor. I was collected from the airport and the family welcomed me with mint tea which was delicious after a day travelling to get there. The room was cosy with air con / heating and the shower hot.... perfect. The breakfast was first rate and varied throughout the week I stayed there. Served on the roof terrace from early till mid morning. I had all the following, during my week .... from eggs to pastries, to pancakes, to french bread and local breads, honey, jam and yogurt..... plus always juices tea, and coffee......all great, fresh and delicious. The roof terrace was also a lovely space, comfortable seats, tables and chairs, I read my book, chatted to the family about my trip and recommendations about places to go were great...... I felt very welcomed. I would definately stay again.......nothing was too difficult for this lovely family who made my first stay in Marrakesh a great one...... Thankyou. Elizabeth x

SpainEverything was perfect.
I spent 2 nights at Riad Dar Wlidati. It's in a perfect location, very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa. The room was comfortable with a private bathroom and air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious. The family that manages the riad was very nice and helpful. I had a few non-standard requests, and nothing was a problem. Highly recommended!

SpainFYI there are no doors to the en-suite bathrooms. We spoke with family however and, while we were out for the day, they fitted a curtain for us! Which was very nice of them.
We had a fantastic stay here. The rooms are as nice as they look on the photos. The bed was comfortable, the location excellent (minutes walk from the restaurants and shops) and the family extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast on the terrace was a particular highlight.

AustriaThe location of the Riad is fantastic. Right behind the Bahia Palace. Has a huge parking 2min away if your traveling with a car like we were. Very close to the main square Jemaa el Fnaa. So it was really easy to reach anything! The most important for us was that the bathroom are without a funky smell, and this was the only riad that didn’t have it! And that we have a way to heat our room. They had the newest AC and we could also sleep with them turn on! The staff is absolutely amazing. Kind and generous. Very tasty breakfast! We would definitely come here again!

United KingdomIt was not safe or comfortable as a single female traveller the owner tried to kiss me after following me into my room in the morning when I had finished breakfast and was going downstairs to pack. He spent 15 minutes saying he wanted to have sex, it was stressful and uncomfortable and not what I wanted.
Hard to answer this - I would not say here as a single female traveller as the owner just wanted to sleep with me and didn't take no as an answer.

United StatesIt was very hard to find the riad as there is no sign for it. We were standing right outside and needed help from a neighbor to locate. See photo of door that I took so you know if you are in the right place. The room was small and really only fit the two twin beds. Had to step over luggage to get around the room. There was nothing separating the room from the bathroom so one of the beds had a full view of the bathroom. We requested a curtain be put up for privacy and the family was able to do this by the time we returned from dinner. There was no shower curtain so the bathroom got all wet after showering and the shower head didn't have a mount so you had to wash yourself off with one hand. The riad front door was also locked even during the day so you had to knock on the door and wait to get in.
Location is very good- proximity to many Marrakesh attractions. Riad is newly built and facilities are nice and clean.

RomaniaI didn't like that the heating is done by AC. Basically, during the day the temperatures are high and the place warms up very nice. The problem is, that during the night temperatures can drop from 20 degrees Celsius to 3. In the room is very.... VERY cold in the morning. Because we couldn't sleep with the AC blowing in our face, we faced the cold. Now we are sick. If they manage to resolve this issue, then this riad is actually a very nice spot.
The place was clean and the family that manages the riad are very friendly, warm people. Close to the big square.

IrelandA few of the rooms straddle a small street which is quite noisy during the day with motorbikes and small trucks. Ask the owners for a quiet room when booking.
The location was very good. Close to Medina and many other local attractions. The owners (family) were very friendly and accommodating. It felt like a homestay. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast good. Fruit, bread, eggs, Coffee/tea. Thank you for a lovely stay.
