We stayed for one week at Riad Deux Palmiers, and it was an amazing experience. The host is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The interior of the riad and the rooms are beautiful and clean, and the traditional Moroccan breakfast is absolutely delicious. The riad is also in a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the medina. Highly recommend!

It was an authentic riad with very interesting decor that summed up all the positive reasons for staying in Marrakesh. The host was both hospitable and helpful, organising taxis and showing where best to eat. He even came to pick me up from the main square when I stayed at the riad again after a trip out to the desert. For a solo female traveller, such care in a busy, rushing city was very welcome.

Nothing, all was amazing

The breakfast was not to my taste and was the same everyday, a bit more variety and fruit would be good, however it was a traditional Moroccan breakfast freshly cooked every morning. You have to run the shower for quite a while to get hot water.

The location is amazing, in a few minutes you are in the souks and Jemaa el-Fnaa, lots of other attractions are nearby too. The owner and staff are nice, we had a few communication issues but quickly resolved. We were there in an off-peak/quiet time, but imagine it's a better atmosphere when the place is busier. Just to note, if you use the airport transfer, make sure you have cash either euros or dirham as you need to pay the driver at the time. Also, the room door didn't lock from inside (could still be opened despite the padlock) but was of no concern, felt safe the entire time, and didn't mention to the owner.

As with with most riads we stayed in (two others), you can hear other guests. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Breakfast could be more varied with fruit or eggs.

Location was very central and minute’s walk from the souks. 5-10 mins wall from the main square, it was nice to look at all stalls/shops on the way. Quiet and away from the hubub.

Because of the nature of the layout (applies to all riads) it's not super quiet, all rooms are facing the main atrium and you can hear people arriving and leaving or speaking loudly, so it's good idea to pack some ear plugs if you are a sensitive sleeper.

Riad is in a great location, 5 mins walk from the main market square yet tucked away in a very quiet side street, which is much appreciated to relax after the day of bargaining in souks. Beds were comfy yet quite firm. Private bathroom was very clean. The owner - Mohammed was nice and welcoming.

We had an amazing time in Riad Deux Palmiers. The place is central, close to the main square and almost all destinations. Despite the business of the medina streets, once inside it is quiet and cool, stepping into a little corner of peace. The owner and the staff are kind, helpful and hospitable. The host specifically helped us with any questions we had, and kindly arranged our transfer for us. We will miss the lovely mint tea he prepared. The breakfast was great, and we spent a lot of time on the terrace, reading and enjoying the cool night air. Overall a fantastic experience, we cannot wait to come back.
