Very close to the medina and the square. The Riad was nice, clean with good facilities such as a hot tub on the terrace which meant a great place to relax and unwind. However, the best part of the stay was the amazing staff, everyone from the reception staff Ibrahim, Mohammed & of course Hassan! to the cleaning staff, and the cook were all excellent and made our stay memorable and amazing. it felt like home away from home. Ibrahim and Hassan were absolutely amazing, always there to help, and assist from what to see or guidance on how to get from A to B. Hassan was the best host ever, always on hand to make us feel apart of Marrakesh! well mannered and polite, funny and accommodating! We also dined at the Riad a number of nights as the food was absolutely beautiful and divine. Breakfast was good, and had a bit of variety each morning. would definitely go back there to stay + recommend to family and friends!

All members of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Amazingly easy to have a chat with or to answer any queries. Welcomed us with mint tea and taught us some Darija, Berber and Arabic words which was greatly appreciated.

The rooms ar not that isolated, so you can hear a lot. If you bring earplugs it will be fine.

Hardware like washroom bolts didn’t close in the whole house but this was a problem across Morocco.

The room and the spaces looked beautiful. The outside of the house is shockingly dull but interiors are beautifully done. The construction quality is poor but considering its a temporary stay; it is not a major issue. Hassan and Ibrahim from the team were very helpful and stayed in touch till we reached the Riad safely as well as took care of everything at the time of our exit. Huda cooked breakfast for us and took care of the house while we enjoyed the city. She was courteous, and sweet.

We didn't like leaving!! Wish we were still there.

Such a wonderful stay - staff were amazing and did so much to make our stay memorable. They organised a special meal and a cake for my fiancé's birthday and also sourced us a bottle of amlou to take home so we didn't have to pay extortionate prices. The riad was stunning and in an amazing location, next to the souks but yoy couldn't hear the noise from the streets at all as the walls were so high and thick around the town. The breakfast was delicious every day and everyone went above and beyond for us. Usually if we return to a city we have been to before, we like to stay in different places to create different memories, but in this case we will 100% return to this riad as we honestly couldn't imagine any other riad being as beautiful and special. Really glad we didn't stay in an all inclusive, as we wouldn't have got such an authentic experience and the price would have been way higher.

I don’t think there was anything that could have been different. Maybe provide a list of nearby pools that are available if guests want to swim, and ensure that the jacuzzi works properly.

The breakfast was fine. It consisted of different types of whole grain breads, fresh olives, a nut spread occasionally, fresh fruit, coffee, orange juice and etc. it was enough to get our day started.

Not so much a negative and may not apply to all the rooms, but the open plan bathroom layout with a clear glass shower door doesn’t offer much privacy when friends are sharing the room. We used a spare bedsheet to drape over the door. Simple fix.

Congratulations, you’ve found a gem here!! I spent days trawling search engines, playing around with search filters and reading reviews to find the perfect place to stay. I can happily say the hotel didn’t disappoint. Riad L’Etoile D’Orient ticks every box! - Located just 5 minutes walk from the souks and Jemaa El Fna square - Clean, modern rooms with mini fridge, safe, iron, and hairdryer - Excellent attentive staff always available to offer help and advice. - The most affordable Riad in comparison to others in the Medina of similar style and facilities - Jacuzzi on the roof terrace was amazing. There is no pool in this Riad but I prefer a hot jacuzzi over a cold, unheated, decorative pool any day! - Yummy breakfast If you’ve made up you mind that you’d like to stay in the heart of the Medina, in a Riad as opposed to a hotel, then this is certainly for you. If I ever return to Marrakech, this is where I’ll be staying!

The place was not exactly easy to find, it is pinned on Google maps to another street, just 20m away.

A beautiful, well taken care of place right by the buzzing souk. The stay was perfect, beds were really comfortable in comparison with other Riads we stayed at. Room was well equipped with air conditioning and a good wifi. Staff was extra helpful, Hassan made sure to accommodate us with many additional requests, some of them last minute. We would certainly be back!

Not much of a pool situation going on. There's a hot tub on the terrace, but I didn't see it being used at all.

What a beautiful riad this was. Prime location in thenear jemaa el-fna square. But most of all, super clean and comfortable to stay at.

We are really enthusiastic for our journey in Marrakech and in Riad hotel L’Etoile D’Orient. The staff was really present and helpful to advice us and to offer the best service! The hotel is good looking, it is located near the Jemaa El-Fna Square so it’s a good location to get around the historic center but first time can be difficult to find without the use of google maps! Breakfast is abundant and offers both sweets and salts foodstuffs. The last day we also tried the dinner, served on the terrace’s hotel, was amazing for food and location!
