Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongThe Riad Palais Sebban in Marrakech is truly an exceptional experience. From the moment you walk through the doors, the stunning architecture and design of the Riad will take your breath away. The Riad is even more spectacular in person than in pictures, with every detail carefully thought out to create the perfect luxury getaway. The Riad is conveniently located near the main square of Jemaa el-Fnaa, making it easy to explore the bustling city. The Riad also offers a range of amenities, including a hamman, spa, bar, and lunch and dinner options, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What really sets the Riad Palais Sebban apart is the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. The team is professional, friendly, and always happy to help guests in any way possible. They speak excellent English, so communication is not a problem, and they go above and beyond to make sure that all guests feel welcome and taken care of. One of the highlights of our stay was the included breakfast, which was delicious and varied. Although we had to leave early for a desert tour, the staff was kind enough to prepare breakfast for us to take away, allowing us to enjoy a tasty meal on the go. While some guests may be tempted to book a room with a private terrace, we found that the public terrace was incredible and offered great views of the city. All in all, the Riad Palais Sebban is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a stylish and luxurious riad in the heart of Marrakech. Highly recommended!

United KingdomAll superb
It surpassed our expectations in every way. Stunning building, beautifully furnished with extraordinary morrocan architecture, tiles and exotic plants. The room was huge with a delightful private terrace and very comfortable queen size bed. Service was first class and food excellent. Swimming pool is wonderful and very clean to swim in.

GreeceThere was a power failure on the second day due to rain, however this was beyond their control.
The building of this riad is amazing. We really enjoyed our welcome tea by the pool, although it was raining. Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was above average. Location was great, close to the central square and easy to find. I definitely recommend it and would visit again.

United StatesBathroom and toilet aren’t privat inside the room.
We had a suite on the top floor with private patio. Stairs are narrow and steep. The room was clean and pretty. Shower and toilet are not private, open into room. Breakfast buffet was amazing and delicious and plenty. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any tour and taxi booking. Currency exchange at reception was convenient. We stayed in a cheaper place before but this was worth it.

United KingdomOnly slightly negative point is that the room we were in wasn't very soundproof - wasn't too much of an issue for us, but might be a problem for light sleepers.

United StatesI like a top sheet on my bed. The French “owner”??? was quite rude and unpleasant… stalking around, interrupting, etc. It was an especially noticeable contrast, as the staff was perfect.
Lovely place, terraces, pools, gardens, location. The staff was AMAZING! So kind, professional, helpful in every way. Yummy breakfast, delicious strong coffee. Great playlist of standards/covers.

United Statesour room while being nicely appointed and a pretty view of the dining courtyard and lower pool was literally above the restaurant and if there was a late dinner then it was a late to sleep time as impossible to avoid the noise, our private patio was an Instagram pick hotspot by many other patrons and was far from just ours, I booked two private balcony rooms and one of the two was truly that, but my room was the "up front loud/public" one and the room the other couple had assigned from my booking was tucked back in a relatively quiet corner. Perhaps the room above the restaurant needs to be reclassified as its not what is expected when booking even though it is a large room
this was a literal and figurative oasis, lots of places to have a private sit, food excellent, service excellent, wonderful staff at every level of interaction from the porter to the wait staff and beyond. Great pre stay communication and arranging of transfers to and from airport and a private car/driver for a day trip.

ItalyWonderful location, very well located in the heart of Marrakech. Our room was comfortable and completely silent. Worth to mention both breakfast and dinner we had during our location. Last but not least the riad can count on two marvelous terraces, one of which comes with a nice pool.

United KingdomNothing bad to say really. White wine could have been colder but staff very accommodating in chilling for us. Bathroom did have a bit of a smell to it but easily fixed when candles were lit each evening on turn down. (Probably old drain system so couldn't be helped)
Great location - a stone's throw from the market. Nice quiet area but close enough to the main road to catch taxis and walk to most attactions. Breakfast was a fabulous buffet every morning with fresh fruit, cakes, warm breads, pancakes, cold meats/cheeses and hot dishes as well. Lunches were very fresh, delicious and good value for money - their bruschetta was particularly good ! Dinner was a delight with traditional morroccan tagine and a wide selection of other choices. Cocktails were really good along with a decent wine selection to choose from. Our room was on the top floor with a private terrace overlooking Marrakech. Plenty of seating, sunbeds and tables to catch the morning sun. Lovely swing seats to relax in the evenings at sunset. Lots of staff around, waiting in the wings to see to our every need. All very friendly and helpful with advice on where best to go to enjoy our trip.

Location is amazing, food is excellent, decor is stunning. We were a family of 4 with 2 boys 13 year old twins. We stayed here 3 nights and hired a private driver Mohammed who is kind, patient and humorous. speaks great English and he was reasonably priced and took us around for 5 days. I highly recommend to hire him as your driver if you visit Marrakech. He can take you anywhere We contacted him through WhatsApp +212 665 058771. So happy we met him.

IsraelThe shower head is small and not the most comfortable, but it does the work. I don't recommend going to the spa. We had the most unprofessional treatment. Started with changing clothes in front of the staff without 5 min of privacy to change.. and the massage itself was very amature, we booked the intense massage, but it was very weak and overall not good. Everything else was great.
The riad is amazing! Great location, the best breakfast we had in marrakech! The restaurant is also very good! The staff is very nice.
