Latifa is great! So welcoming and friendly, lovely lady! The whole Team was really nice. The atmosphere is traditional so you can feel the Moroccan vibes. The location is good as well - 15 minutes from most of places that we wanted to visit. I would highly recommend it.

we really liked the decor and the location of the Riad. the room is nice and comfortable , wifi works very well, simple and tasty breakfast, terrace upstairs where you can sit and have a drink. Latifa is very friendly, helpful and she makes our stay very pleasant. We extended by one more night because we liked the Riad and the city of Marrakech.

- the beds are typical Moroccan firm but the added pillows were a nice touch - everything else was great

- loved the location which is central to many sights in Marrakech. we walked everywhere - loved that it’s on a side alley away from the noise of the main streets - loved the live-in host Latifa who only spoke French but we communicated fine as she must understand some English - the room was spacious and we were on the main floor so we had easy access to the courtyard which was bright. no windows to the outside tho which is common in the Medina. only windows to the courtyard. - loved the rooftop terrace and the cats - there’s a large fridge for guests to share next to the terrace too - breakfast was good and served a bit early when we needed to leave for excursions - good wifi everywhere

The property is perfect for those who are looking for an accommodation with a Moroccan vibe or feel. The hosts, Latifa and Nabil, are very hospitable and they make sure that you are comfortable in your stay. The breakfast is excellent. Tours can also be booked through them. I’d definitely book the property again if I ever return to Marrakech. It’s in the heart of Medina, but getting lost is actually part of the experience.

very traditional and authentic. 10 min walk to the main square. the lady that runs the hotel is exceptionally helpful and friendly. the breakfast was amazing. I can’t fault our experience here.

I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like!

Everything! Location (walkable to SO much), breakfast!, attentive/caring host/staff, value for cost, excellent/functioning air conditioning, solid WiFi, nice bathroom, rooftop terrace and indoor main floor room, communal fridge to keep your beverages and foods cold (even alcohol, no judgement), charming old world style everywhere, non-smoking rooms and interior but you can smoke on the roof top, airport transfers available upon request (€15 either direction as of June 2022), host can arrange excursions and private tours- I got a half day tour of Marrakesh with my own guide (absolutely awesome), I also joined an all day excursion to Ourikos in the base of the Atlas Mountains (interesting and educational- bring good shoes for the waterfall hike). I’m highly recommending Riad Sesame to any and all independent travellers who want a great place to stay in Marrakesh!

the courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. it was very clean and quiet. Latifa is the absolute best. she took care of me and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. She checked in on me in the morning and evening to ensure I was ok and see if I had any questions. She asked if I needed my room cleaned, made breakfast every morning, taught me a little friends and Arabic, let me pet the cat, and was just the absolute best.

The staff and owner were very kind and helpful. Location was excellent and just walking distance away to the old medina, souks, restaurants, etc. Taxi's were abundant and easily available.

I didn't like was that the drain in the shower cubicle was small and the water took some time to drain away after having a shower. There could have been more variety in the breakfast.

The location of this riad is in the medina and is close to the main square. There are lots of shops, restaurant and a supermarket that was nearby. There was also a large mosque and a small taxi rank within walking distance from the riad. The room and the bathroom was also clean. The staff were helpful.

Room was a bit unkempt, not a luxury riad. Just the basics.

Fabulous location. Pretty easy to relocate considering your in the medina. Great host! Nidel was super helpful and ready to answer all questions and aid in anything asked. Latifah provided a great breakfast.
