Riad Sanwa is absolutely amazing! It is at the centre of the Medina, a walking distance from most of the tourists attractions and restaurants in Marrakesh. The Riad is clean and serene which is great for when you have spent all day in the busy and sunny atmosphere of Marrakesh. Once you enter the Riad, there is no noise at all, which is great if you want to take a nap or just relax. I absolutely loved the decor of the Riad, I took so many pictures! 🤭 My room was perfect and the bed was very comfy! I wasn't expecting a lot when I booked the place and didn't know if the reviews were genuine about how hospitable the staff members were. I can testify that the staff members (Mohammed, Fatima, Yahia) were exceptionally excellent! They were very accommodating and ready to help always! They were very professional but friendly and they respected my personal space, which I really appreciated. Very polite and once again professional! The breakfast was enough and satisfying for one person. I always left the table very full and happy! I received sliced banana with my breakfast one morning, something that I really appreciated. I would suggest for fruits to be included as a standard everyday (this is just because I love fruits, maybe not everyone appreciates fruits though). I absolutely recommend Riad Sanwa! I can't praise it enough! Looking forward to visiting it again soon! ☺️

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Riad during a recent business trip to Marrakech, and I truly can’t say enough good things about the experience. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around and soak in the vibrant energy of Marrakech. But what truly set this stay apart was the hospitality. Hamza, Yahya, Mohammed, and Fati—each of them went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. From the warm greetings to the thoughtful little touches, their kindness and attentiveness made me feel more like a guest in their home than a visitor. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days, and I left with nothing but gratitude. Highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking for not just a place to stay, but an experience to remember.

Great location inside medina - 5min walk from the pickup point for various tours outside Marrakesh, also all attractions in medina are reachable on foot. Very helpful staff. Mohamed is such a nice guy. He really made my stay memorable.

The young employed host smoked in the lounge and on the terraces. He had trouble arranging our transport to our tour meeting point as we had lots of luggage.

The Riad was right in a bustling part of the medina which is fairly noisy at night as we opened our window onto the street. Breakfast was great up on the rooftop terrace.

Good location in a quiet alley off the souk. Excellent breakfast served on upper terrace from a wide choice, I had freshly made pancakes with honey and amlou. Lovely, kind staff - Mohammed ordered my lunch from nearby restaurant and collected it so I could eat in peace and quiet on their premises.

The location was amazing and the host, Hamza, was very kind and helpful! The room was clean and nice, a bit small though but extremely valid for the price. Also, the breakfast was super delicious with eggs and Moroccan bread and it was included in the price!

Our room looked very nice, but being on the ground floor, it was rather dark and humid. We recommend booking one of the rooms on the upper floors if you have the choice.

The riad is centrally located in the heart of the medina, and very nicely designed. Our favourite was the super nice young staff, and the breakfasts on the roof terrace. We would come back any time - thank you so much!

Yahia who is working at Riad Sanwa made me feel extra welcome. He is kind, friendly and helpful. It was a bit hard to find the Riad, but he came to find me after I sent him some pictures of my location. This Riad location is super great, it has everything you needed and near to all .

Amazing riad right in the heart of the medina. Very close to the souks and secret garden. The manager Yaya was brilliant, funny, polite, always ready for a question.. hamza and fatima were lovely.we had a several delicious breakfasts. The shower was always hot and facilities were good. Even had a rooftop view of koutobia. Will definitely stay again.

Room facilities were quite basic, but that’s reflected in the price. When people are talking in the courtyard the noise really carries and I was woken up early in the morning because of this. There’s a big gap under the door of the single room so light floods in whenever someone turns the hall light on.

As others have pointed out, the biggest assets this place has are Hamza and Yahia, who are super helpful, friendly and welcoming. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the medina but tucked away in a quiet alley. The rooftop terrace is an amazing place to enjoy breakfast.

Everything perfect!!!

The location is perfect, the rooms was cleaned and it was honestly very beautiful. There are no words that can describe the staff, the two guys are just great, we never had such treatment, we were happy to go there just to talk with them! The breakfast is perfect. We left but we know that we will come back, the best place we ever stayed in.
