Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesCould have provided heating in the bathrooms.
The setup of the Riad is good and well maintained. The rooms are good size and the beds were comfy. It provides some good food sourced from local ingredients. Our host was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The A/C was bit noisy, but was immediately sorted out. Location is also good, the centre was just 3 minutes walk where you can find lots of taxis and so as the Medina. The shower pressure was excellent and so as the bathroom size.

CanadaThe room was bit dark but we attributed it to our evenings there in winter times.
Riad was well decorated, young, simple and friendly staff. Breakfast was exceptionally good, we asked for gluten-free and we got it. Freshly squeezed orange juice and Starbucks standard coffee.

Best riad in Fes ever! A few days before my arrival, I sent a message in booking to the riad to inform them of my 4am train arrival and was told that a staff would pick me up at a designated place. As promised, Ali picked me up at the main street, took my luggages, guided me to the riad and even served tea and delicious almond biscuits. Providing service in the wee hours of the morning is mind-blowing! I believe the riad is an amalgamation of mesmerizing handmade tiles, cozy room and exceptional service & food that you would never experience in any other riads in Fes. A home away from home!

CroatiaThe entrance gave us the WOW effect. We were greeted with traditional cookies and mint tea served on a silver platter, seated on the softest silky pillows, surrounded by amazingly beautiful Moroccan tiles. Serving people is a noble thing and Ali does it in such Royal manner. The way he was dressed and his hospitality, as well as knowledge and experience with guests and tourism, was remarkable… very polite young man! Riad was cleaned with care, by a dear Bedia, and the rest of the staff we met enjoying evenings on a rooftop terrace, made us like our stay very much.

Best riad culture. İf you want to stay in authentic riad, this place is right place. All our morocco trip, among the places we stayed, this was the place where we felt the authentic morocco vibe. Staff was so kind and helpful. İnside of the riad like a museum. Decoration was amazing. Room and bathroom was also large and same vibe still live in the room. Rooftop has no view but was still amazing chil out place. Breakfast was satisfaying with always fresh orenge juice.

SpainEverything was great. Nothing to complain about. I hope to be back soon.
The breakfast in the patio was an amazing experience. Staff was always super kind and willing to do the extra mile for you. The Riad was very well located. It was just a 5-minute walk to Blue Gate but, at the same time, the taxi could get almost to the door of the Riad.

United StatesThe private tour guide we booked through this hotel for 3 hour private tour of Medina was rude, aggressive, unprofessional, violent, and threatened my sister and I when we didn't want to follow his itinerary at his pace. We tried to emphasize that this tour is private and it should be at our own pace but rather he seemed to have his own plans to take us to shops and businesses. When I was videotaping the argument he had with my sister, he turned around hit my hand hard causing my phone dropped hard on the ground. And at the end of the 3 hour time, he asked us to pay him. We wouldn't pay and he threatened to take us to the police. We asked him to get the police over, and waited with him for 30 min, but turned out he didn’t call police. He was just trying to threaten us. Wasted 3 hour 30 min of our time on this private tour.
Attentive staffs. Good breakfast. Beautiful raid and courtyard, clean and large room, good value.

SwedenSometimes problems to find the staff. (And the cake (huge) didn't show up until after when we came back from big dinner hehe).
Wow! It felt like coming to a palace. Inte covered inner garden of the riad is just stunning. Out room was also big, and the bathroom huge… We got nice instructions about Fes. They also helped us to arrange a day trip to Meknes, Volubilis and Moulay Idriss. The staff was very friendly. They help us (me) arrange a cake and some roses for a birthday surprise. Very much appreciated! It's easy and crazy cheap to go to the train station with shared taxi.

RomaniaNothing to complain, really. When you enter a historic riad like this you do not expect perfectly aligned walls, woodwork etc after centuries since its dwelling.
Really nice old house converted into guest house, with generous spaces. The building retains its old charm, so don't expect top notch 5 stars hotel-like premises, but this is what it makes it genuine. Staff is excellent. Food, service, cleaning, everything was great. Good knowledge of foreign languages. Common areas are quiet and lavishly decorated. Location is convenient, alley is quiet and pretty much clean. We traveled with a 14 months old baby, it was a great stay for us. Recommended. Good value.
