Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaService was impeccable! All the staff were 10/10 helpful. One sat down with us for over 20 minutes giving us recommendations and offering his help. Later, we had a great conversation about Berber history and they were incredibly willing to share their knowledge and culture. Free breakfast was amazing, and the dinner was even better (would recommend the Tagines!).

NetherlandsThe bed was too hard for us and curtains that don't let in any light would really be better.
The best of this riad was the staff. Everybody was so nice and made us feel like we were at home. Especially Hassan who helped us and kept us company. We received a warm welcome by a sweet gentleman with curly hair. I think his name is Abdel Majid. He was very helpful everyday. Breakfast was also well taken care of by the same gentleman every day. I don't know his name, but he took good care of us. Thank you! The room was also excellently cleaned every day and we also enjoyed the hamam.

PolandThe place could be charming but is in need of renovation. It’s old, scratched, and damaged—definitely not worth the price. • Cracked walls • Mold and bubbles on the ceiling • TERRIBLE smell in the bathroom, making it nearly unusable; the smell even seeped into the bedroom :( I accidentally booked the wrong date (one day ahead)—my mistake, I understand. However, I reached out to the riad a week in advance to ask if I could change the date or cancel altogether. They refused to cancel and instead offered us a room for four people, of course with an extra charge, and were unwilling to negotiate the price. It would have been nice to see a more customer-friendly approach, especially since we didn’t need the extra beds for just two people. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. It does not look like in the photos.
Location - it’s not in the middle of Medina so it’s easy to order a taxi from there Breakfast was tasty

NetherlandsThe shower lacked a door or full separation, which felt a bit awkward while sharing the room with a friend.
The breakfast was great, and the staff were very friendly. The Riad itself is beautiful, with a charming atmosphere. The AC worked well, and the location is excellent, just steps from the bustling souks.

United KingdomLocation. Condition of accommodation and limited space Didn't t get to try breakfast had we had early start
To be fair, we were there only one night and out before breakfast. Room for 3 adults was dimly lit, with large double in one room ....reasonable space. 2 singles on adjoining room.....cell like. Pretty worn and in need of upgrade. Water pressure very poor. And location felt a bit intimidating compared to other riads we stayed in marrakech and fez. Glad it was only one night

SpainThe airport pickup was super late, and very expensive for them not to even be on time. There were a lot of flies in the reception due to the plants they have there. The terrace was not clean or arranged during our stay and it was dirty with a lot of dust, same as in the room there was a lot of dust so we had allergies all the time. The location is not great, it is hard to get taxis from there and it is close to a market that is not pleasant to walk by and does not feel safe for you to walk around there.
The riad is very nice as in the pictures, and breakfast was amazing every day. they helped us by giving us some turistic information and offering some tours but we didn't take them as they were more expensive than in other places. The pool and rooftop could be nicer if they cleaned it more.

AustraliaShower didnt drain so made second person showerimg difficult and flooded room. Pillows not very comfy and lumpy. Stairs only so travelling with a heavy suitcase not great but luckily staff carried our bags up.
Location a bit dodgy for females in my opinion. Staff were very good and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the rest of the day. Very generous pours for our drinks a bonus.

GreeceUnfortunately the property is not maintained up to a professional standard. The pool was dirty and cleaned only for a couple of days and then switched off again, reception was too loud with guests who at times were blasting music and football matches on speakers, the breakfast was stale and the ceramic plates and mugs were chipped. Housekeeping took our pillow cases and towels while having breakfast, so we couldn’t relax a bit until check out. It’s very sad how this Riad has changed for the worst since 2022 when we gave it a 10/10 review. The entire building could take some tender, love and care. It would also be nice if the lights around the Riad could stay on overnight. Especially one night, the lights switched off from half11, it felt like being put in bed on boarding school. It was pitch dark from around midnight, after all the guests had arrived. Felt too controlling. After staying for a week, we were too happy to return home.
It’s a beautiful Riad, hence why we were back for the third time in three years. Very peaceful interior. The staff, Ali, Majid and Lahcen would always greet you with a smile and were extremely helpful.
