Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe location was great, walking distance to taghazout. Staff and facilities were good, although I didn't expect the resort to be so big! I would say it would have been good if there were a beach bar, other hotels on the same beach have a few. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and helpful. I know it's not high on the list of things, but I feel a better range of drinks would be good.

United KingdomThe hotel and bedrooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. There was a very wide choice of good quality food available for all meals. The staff were very polite and friendly. The local town of Taghazout is just a short walk away along the well-maintained beachfront path.

United KingdomWiFi is non existent in some areas, had to change rooms. No amenities kit in bathroom or small bottles of shampoo, conditioner etc, not five star standard. Restaurant is canteen like, very noisy and food average. Didn’t try the other restaurants as I heard other guests saying they are not good. Saw a member of staff drop a knife then put it back on table. Another staff member at pool bar told my husband off for speaking to him in French stating he’s speaks Arabic.
Hotel is spacious with well kept gardens. Lounge bar well designed. Rooms are large with plenty of wardrobe space. Staff very friendly.

United KingdomThe cleaning needs to be improved there was days where food was left outside for a long time. My sister’s room had an ant infestation and at first nothing was done but when we spike with the manager they offered a room change. Also the air con is centrally managed which meant that in the winter the rooms were stuffy.
The hotel was beautiful the rooms are slightly outdated and needs more renovation. The staff were amazing, friendly and the Christmas dinner offered was phenomenal.

United KingdomThe corridor to our room was a disgrace and a dumping ground - not 5 star at all. Very low quality toiletries and towels. Only soft drinks in the mini bar. The pool area was very crowded even in low season.
Rooms and grounds are very well maintained and the overall feeling is very high end - with the exception of the corridors. Wine was very good for an all inclusive. The vast majority of staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and lunch were good but the main evening buffet was of a lower standard and often lacked choice with items not replaced/refilled.

United KingdomThe beach is beautiful, but the private area for the hotel guests could be so much better, make it more like a beach club vibe (like other hotels in the area)
Friendly service by all staff members. Great bar areas inside and out. Rooms were very comfortable and big, with great views. The grounds were kept spotless. The speciality dining options made a great change from the buffet, make sure you book in advance. The animation team were great, always walking around with smiles, never pushy, just wanted to make sure we were aware of the activities available. The cats were lovely, so nice that the hotel accommodates them, such a nice change

United KingdomI may have misread that the all-inclusive included premium brand drinks. If you like Martini and Pastis you’re ok but gin/vodka/rum/Baileys are all Imitation
The location is excellent. The facilities are really good and the grounds are fabulous. The staff are generally very good.

EstoniaThe hotel was clean but the room cleaning could have been better. We didn't have shampoo and conditioner in the room - you should bring your own. The wine and beer are mediocre - one choice. You have to wake up early in the morning to get a spot for a tan - people take their things to places - it's sad and annoying. We really like it and recommend it!
We really liked it. The service was very good. The hotel was in a good location and looked very beautiful. There were many activities in the hotel, which you could take part in but you didn't have to if you just wanted to relax. The food could be better, they do local food very well. Our trick was to add lemon and salt - it brought out the flavors more . We highly recommend it to families!

United KingdomThe hotel did have ants in the room, however was very minor. So as long as you’re not bringing food into the rooms it’s okay. Also, if you’re not a big fan of cats or allergic to cats then probably wouldn’t recommend staying.
Enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The views and aesthetics were amazing and the staff here was very pleasant.

United KingdomFor a resort of this size, they should have additional staff. If you asked for a service in the room, it could take ages. We asked for an iron and ironing board, but didn't get that. It was easier to go and get water bottles from the bar rather than trying reception and wait for someone to drop the bottles. Gym opening time is 8 AM to 7 PM. I think gym should be 24/7. OR at least open from 6 onwards. We were given twin beds when we asked for a King double. It wasn't however a big problem. Room should have beach slippers and a beach bag. We had to buy from the shop in reception. Rooms should also have bath robes which we did not get
Location. By the beach. Set up. Very luxurious. Excellent staff. . The lawns, trees, beach facilities, swimming pools, are all top notch. Food is good. Good value for money

IrelandAlthough they did not bother us as they kept away critters, there is lots of cats in and around hotel and restaurant. They are well looked after but I think it can be a shock if you were not expecting to see them.
Beautiful beach front property. Well maintained and lovely walk into the village. Staff are wonderful but with the vastness it’s impossible for them to remember everyone so we find tipping good service and they will ensure you are looked after.

United KingdomI didn’t like the food, even the restaurants were poor quality i think I preferred the buffet. The plates were also always dirty and in one restaurant i was given a dirty knife and plate. We also came into a room fillies with cockroaches and had to move. The resort at night is almost too dark and walking alone did seem dangerous. I also didn’t like that dinner ended at 10pm which is very early. The desserts were also horrible.
The staff were amazing as well as the overall presentation

IrelandThe food and wine really let the place down … there was no option to choose a decent bottle of wine even in the ala carte restaurants which we would have been very happy to pay for so we ended up eating dinner in taggazout or the Hyatt most nights
