Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe property is beautiful and well managed by Hamza and his team! The riad is easy to access from the airport and a car can access it if you arrive outside peak hours. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The food is fantastic - definitely have one meal on the rooftop! We enjoyed our stay here!

SpainHot water only lasted about 5 minutes.
Awesome stay! Staff could not be more friendly, welcoming and ready to help at all times. Place is identical to the photos provided, the terrace is lovely! Location is about 15/20 minutes from the action, it can get tricky to get to the hotel but if you have a phone with GPS you’re all set.

SpainWe were met just outside the city wall By Jamal the host manager, he walked us to the Riad,he and his staff were amazing, shared all his knowledge with us which helped us have a fun stay in Marakech.. the Riad was quiet yet in a perfect location for exploring and getting around (you will get lost 😄 it's part of it) The food was wonderful we had an evening meal after a road trip to the ourika valley arranged by Jamal.. We would definitely stay there again..

MoroccoEverything is just Wonderful and unforgettable at this Riad, just so amazing...
We had a wonderful and an amazing experience at this Riad, a special thanks to Hamza the Manager who gave us all the and intention, and also helped us to get to the Riad and walk to the small tricky streets of the Medina through Jamaa el fna square. The Riad is so quiet and all the staff make sure to respect the quiet and sleep time… Great and delicious Moroccan & traditional food.

AustraliaThe riad only takes cash and the wifi is bad but these are things you have to expect from anywhere in Marrakech
We had the most amazing time at this riad. Hamza and his staff are extremely helpful and kind, we felt right at home the moment we got there. Hamza went out of his way to help us and was always making sure we were maximising our time in Marrakech. The riad itself beautiful, we especially loved the rooftop terrace and the breakfast every morning. Also the dinner is so delicious I definitely recommend doing it during your stay. The location was good for us, not too far from the main parts of the city and not too close either so it is quiet. We can not wait to come back and stay here again

Czech RepublicThe only minus I'd give would be to Jamal that it feels like you're bothering them everytime you ask him something and you need to repeat it several time to have something done. Otherwise, everything was great.
Location was close to medina, little shop next by, amazing terrace, Idris and Hamza were great. Very good breakfast and different every day. The WiFi was good, a/c and enough space in the room

United KingdomCan't remember anything bad. Water at €2 was pricey. Get yours from a local shop for a fraction of the price!
Fabulous rooftop terrace was a real bonus. Lovely room and beds made up each day. Super breakfast including fruit served in the gorgeous communal space. Staff were really great and helpful with local information. We had a gorgeous evening meal, on the roof terrace. This was great value and quality (compared to other accommodation) - wonderful when you're late arriving in a new city. Would go back.

United KingdomThe Riad common areas could all be cleaner. We didn't have GPS although Jamaal helpfully installed map.me on our phone which was good. However, we still found it difficult to find our way back to the Riad.
The best (for us) was the 2 main staff, Jamaal and Abdul. They were both welcoming, helpful and kind always.

IrelandNothing- everything perfect.
We had a fantastic stay in Riad Sun of Kech. I would highly recommend this place. Hamza, Jamal and Moenea were absolutely amazing hosts; three great lads who were kind, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was also lovely. Couple of pieces of advise for guests: Be sure to eat dinner here at least once. We ate in several places in Marrakesh (all very good also), but without doubt the best tagine (chicken, lemon, olives) we had in Marrakesh was in this Riad as the food is prepared fresh each day rather than prepared in advance and refrigerated (you’ll find this issue in some restaurants). We ate this on our first night and it was great. We also had tangia here (prepared locally) for our last meal in Marrakesh and it was beautiful. I would also recommend booking the trip to Imlil for a lovely walk in the mountains. Again, it’s best to book the trip through Riad when you arrive. Also, you should book the airport transfer for sure. Finally- look out for Leonardo (you’ll see him when you are on the rooftop)!

AustriaLocation of the Riad was a bit out of the main area, around 25mins by walk, but still it was a nice walk for us during our stay there for 3 days.
We - as a couple, enjoyed our stay in Riad Kech a lot. Our room was in the second floor and the size was big enough. We had very nice traditional breakfast. Wifi worked well in our room. There was a terrace on top of the Riad and being there made our mornings fresh with the early morning sun light! We would like to say thank you firstly to Mounem, and Jamal and Hamza. It was very valuable that he (we think Hamza) prepared breakfast for us around 6am in the morning of the day we left! Thank you for everything guys!

United KingdomMost things were perfect, would stay again. Only thing I can think of was that the location was quite a long walk from Jemaa el Fna - but it was closer to other attractions like Le Jardin Majorelle so I think it has its pros and cons.
The hospitality was perfect, Hamza and Jamal were amazing hosts and the cous cous lunch by Hadijah was the best couscous by far we have had in Morocco. The riad was stunning and our hosts made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfasts and sunsets on the beautiful terrace were a highlight of the trip.
