Otherwise the staff were very cold and unprofessional.they knocked on my door so that i will pay them the other night that was staying even though we agreed i will pay when i will be leaving. There was a crazy guy staying at the hostel who scammed me while i was thinking he works at the hostel but he was just staying there. They check in weird people. I did not feel totally safe as a solo female traveler. Will never go back again.

I would never stay at this hostel again. The only thing that was good about it is the cleanliness and the location

The bedsheet needed changing. The electric sockets locate in odd places around the room. The toilet wasn’t very clean and it smelt.

It is located a short walk from Bab Marrakech.

There were so many ants in the room, including in the bathroom, and there was a sewage smell in the bathroom, which wafted through the bedroom. Also, there was mold everywhere in the room, there's a really high humidity. Our bathroom had a sort of high window which couldn't be closed and opens onto the outside so you can basically hear everything and everyone (this also means everyone can hear you).

The staff was kind, welcomed us and offered cous cous and also mint tea. The terrace on the top floor is nice.

My experience staying at the hostel was positive. After I checked in they invited me lunch and shared the most delicious tagine I had in Morocco. They made sure everything was comfortable. They provided me with my own roll of toilet paper, towel, and lock for the locker. They were able to answer questions about the medina and the city that made my exploring much easier. The room was kept clean. I had pillow, thin blanket, and thick blanket. I was able to take hot shower. No problem in the restroom. The place is conveniently located inside the medina walking distance to the attractions, beach, restaurants, money exchange, and bus station. I would recommend staying at this hostel.

Dump, dirty, dark, zero ventilation, the owner speaks no English and has zero interest in his guests, the "receptionist" lays in the kitchen smoking all day, the kitchen itself is filthy beyond reason plus the smoking and the trash, disgusting ensuite bathroom in my dorm, the water is lukewarm at best and has no pressure, the stench in the whole place is disgusting, mouldy, poorly lit, rundown, neglected. Nobody cares, the pictures are a scam, it's nothing like what one would expect. The street is also covered in trash. Had I known I'd have never stayed. It's upsetting to see the sluggish attitude they have, they could look after the place but they just don't care, shameful

Inside the medina, my mattress was good and luckily had no bugs, the place is quiet. Sorry but this is all one can like about this dungeon.

The room smells humid it makes you not comfortable at the first 15 min i hope they find a solution for it but its normal for a coastal city

The internet wasnt working and also the showers didnt work always. Plus the staff members were smoking cigarettes all day so it was terrible for a non smoker.

The staff was ao nice to me and my friend. We discussed, we laughed and we were very much well taken care of. My room was super clean with a private bathroom (shower and wc), sheets were neat, i had enough not to feel cold and i had my little window. I also had acces to a kitchen where i could cook and enjoy the terrasse during the lovely nights of Essaouira. Strongly recommend!
