The hotel is architecturally an amazing project in a unique and fantastic location. Unfortunately the room finish (like tiling, grouting and built work, please consider I am an architect) is poorly done. The cleaning is not really at standards as windows dusty with kids fingerprints, floor sticky as broom and mop not properly used, as well not scenting of cleaning fullness. The dinner at restaurant a' la carte was very good but service slow and not attempt. Breakfast was not really what expecting for such an high level hotel, but must admit that buffet is really difficult. All the above are probably the result of an high end hotel designed to enjoy a scenic location in tranquillity, which is instead "assaulted" by family with children making the place loud and dirty. It is a pity as managed a bit better could be a fantastic Design Hotel, and attract more guests looking for a relaxing holiday.

I am also questioning the freshness of their ingredients as both me and my husband got our stomachs a bit upset. There are no other restaurants outside the resort so your choices are limited.

Also the menu in the main restaurant was kind of out of sync with the rest of the experience. I just expected more from the restaurant. (Top tip for the kitchen, use more of the Moroccan herbs and spices.)

MoroccoDespite the numerous positive aspects of our stay at Widian Hotel, we encountered a few issues that we hope can be addressed for a more perfect experience in the future. In our room (406), we faced technical difficulties with the TV remote control and the ‘Do Not Disturb’ and ‘Clean My Room’ options wasn’t working. The rooftop area, though promising, was marred by dirty furniture, which unfortunately dirtied our clothes with dust when we sat down. We were also somewhat disappointed during our visit to the spa, where only one staff member was available to manage the reception and offer massage services, meaning my wife and I couldn’t be serviced at the same time. Lastly, the revolving door at the hotel entrance required a push to operate each time as it was not functioning correctly.
We recently stayed at the Widian Hotel, which is surrounded by the peaceful Atlas Mountains and overlooks a stunning lake. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out, with gorgeous decor that caught our attention. Our room was clean and spacious, with a balcony. The balcony offered beautiful views of the lake and mountains. What distinguishes us most is the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, which makes our stay comfortable and unforgettable. In addition, the hotel offers a range of activities; We especially enjoyed the spa services and the unforgettable boat tour on the lake. In short, Hotel Widian promises a great experience with great amenities, friendly staff and stunning views, all at a good value. Highly recommended for a peaceful vacation.

Furthermore some of the staff is clearly unexperienced mainly at breakfast, not clearing tables, walking around with n'othing in their hands. Also they favour locals in their service over Europeans sadly.
