The breakfast consisted of local products and was extremely delicious. The hosts were very attentive and kind, we felt like we were at home. If we go to Herceg Novi again, we will definitely stay here.

The only thing- if someone is allergic to cats , there are a few quite nice ones that come over from neighboring properties. But if anyone has an issue the owners will swiftly make sure that they don’t bother anyone. Paradise for cat lovers though

Barka completely took me by surprise with how amazing this family owned and operated place was! Easily one of if not the best hosts I have had the pleasure to be staying with. They helped with everything, including the airport transfer, planing our trips and even offered to wash our babies clothes. The room was lovely- bespoke , modern design, comfortable bed, very spacious bathroom, balcony with a view to die for and very clean. Breakfast was great- had the pleasure of trying out some local foods which did not disappoint, presented beautifully. Also, they prepared an olive leaf tea from a tree on the property, which was very nice and a new thing for us. Barka also has a private beach with sun loungers and access to the beautiful waters of the bay. The location was also close enough to see all the amazing places around and was not as busy as some other spots around the bay. At the same time there were plenty of bars and restaurants along the coast and within a walking distance. We went there in the offseason so didn’t have the pleasure to try the restaurant menu of Barka, which the open for the summer season, but I am sure it would be quite nice judging but the breakfast. Amazing stay even with a 5 month old baby! My family and I left very happy and relaxed and a huge thank you to the hosts for everything!

No complaints at all.

Everything was perfect, right from the arrival. The parking place was nice and since I was with my motorcycle it was very safe. The location itself just 5m away from the sea, what a view and the owner greeted me with a glass of Raki and a coffee. The owner family was so friendly, especially if you are with a motorcycle and want to explore the area, the owner guides you so very well. The room with a sea view was so comfortable. I definitely would recommend Barka B'n'B and I will definitely come back.

Nothing, everything was exceptional.

We spent our wedding night in the apartment. Hosts were extremely kind and generous, and we got a gift plate of fruit with a rose and some tea leaves to take home. Apartment was clean, beautiful, with everything provided. Breakfast was excellent and served in the courtyard by the sea under an olive tree. The room doesn't have a direct sea view, but side one, which still provided a beautiful sunrise scene. There was plenty of parking available. We followed navigation to arrive and we didn't have any issues.

A beautiful small family hotel located right next to the sea. The hosts are very kind and gave us good instructions for visiting Montenegro. Free parking is located in the yard of the accommodation. The accommodation is easy to get to. There are several restaurants nearby with a good offer. The breakfast was excellent.

Not much the owner can do but staying close to the bay gets some specific unpleasant smell.

The room was clean and met the pictures as advertised. The breakfast was good. An owner provides dedicated sunbeds at the beach across the street which was great as well.

This was a wonderful experience and I'm glad I chose to stay here during my first visit to beautiful Montenegro. I arrived early and was allowed to check in. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had a nice view of the sea from the balcony. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Being gluten intolerant I sometimes feel like a burden to others but I was in no way made to feel this way here. One waiter in particular took very good care of me at lunchtime and dinner. He even de-boned my fish for me. Everyone was friendly. I enjoyed it so much that I was sad to leave. It felt very homely, peaceful and relaxing. As a solo female I felt very safe. On my last morning I asked for a taxi to visit nearby Portonovi for breakfast and this was arranged. The owner even offered to drive me there himself which was very kind of him. I cannot wait to return. Thank you all for making my 2 nights there amazing.

One of the best accommodations we stayed in Montenegro. Very nice apartment, even nicer than in pictures. It shows someone put a lot of effort to decorate rooms. Extremely clean! We stayed on second floor- terrace with beautiful view. Downstairs is nice tavern hidden in trees. Parking lot is suitable for bigger cars. Right in front of property is small beach only for the guests of Barka. Owner kind, welcoming and eager to help.

Everything was perfect.

Super modern rooms, still looking like brand new. Really good wifi, and amazing views over the bay. Breakfast is really nice and fresh, we also tried their restaurant, good food, with fair price. With the price, it comes a private beach with sun beds to use by guests. Nemanja and Vaso are really nice hosts, and will make sure your stay is perfect.
