How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is no elevator on the property so if you book the room on the top floor it is quite a struggle. and the private bathroom is located outside the room. i dont know what to feel about that.
The staffs are really helpful to give you information about the city. and it is located inside the old town so you can wander the old town at night and still near your hotel.

Feels like home. Very clean. One of the best hostels I have stayed in. 1- Kitchen: Comfortable to cook in, the pans are actually usable (Mind-blowing for a hostel, I know). 2- Bathroom: Big, comfortable, clean (but cold in the winter). 3- Bed: Comfortable. Not squeaky. Curtains. Warm. 4- Social space: Warm. 5- Location: At the heart of the old town. 6- Staff: They can make the best christmas tree, also nice and helpful.

It was good 👍
I like everything, bed, hot tea, location, staff, clear towels, convenient and large cabinet with 2 shelves with a lock 🔐, and price on New Year's night.

-The fact that they close at 10pm, no body has told me before. But the gentleman working there can olen the door whenevr you comeback but still i don't feel comfortable asking someome to do something out of time of service. - there was an awful smell as the cleaning was not done correctly.
The hostel is nice and i can't remember the name of the lady and the gebtleman working there but they were super nice and always with a good smile.

The staff speak fluent English and are friendly. They give you local sightseeing guide and tips. It is not mentioned in the features, but the hostel also provides locker and towel.

I liked all
It was the most impressive hostel experience I have had. Staying in the old city was like returning in time, and there is so many cats. The place was perfectly clean and organized. I had curtains on my bed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The hostel is located in the heart of the Old Town. It was clean, tidy. My bus arrived in the middle of the night, and one of the lady stuff went out of her way to help me with an early check-in. I am deeply grateful for her kindness and support! I would definitely stay here again.

the shower door couldn't close completely so you had to be careful not too make the bathroom too wet
Great feeling cozy family hostel, not too big but also not too small, amazing staff (shout out to Nemo and the cleaning lady + boss) great location right in the city centre, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Great location! Staff were super friendly, never met hostel staff as friendly as at Centrum Hostel. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

Unfortunately, there was no possibility to hang anything up in the room or put anything down, which was rather impractical for drying towels or hanging up a jacket, etc.. There was also only a small wardrobe with two shelves for clothes, but unfortunately the top shelf was unusable as it wasn't properly fixed and kept breaking in.
The staff at the hostel were super friendly and helpful, the location was perfect in the old town and the hostel was clean and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly.

Not really a big deal but it could have been better if there were wall mounts to hang towels.
Conveniently located at the heart of old town Kotor. Facilities were well-maintained and clean.
