How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We stayed at the Kotor Nest for two nights during our visit to Kotor, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Kotor’s Old Town, making it easy to explore the historic sites, shops, and restaurants. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kotor, especially if you want to be right in the center of everything. It’s perfect for those who enjoy a mix of history, comfort, and convenience.

Everything was perfect
I liked the position—it was right in the heart of the Old Town, yet very quiet and comfortable. The charming historic surroundings added to the experience, making it a perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. The cozy atmosphere and well-thought-out details made the stay even more enjoyable.

We were lucky enough to be in the 1bed apartment which was newly renovated. It was clean, well designed, had everything you’d need for cooking and was well located in a quiet part of town. The team were kind and attentive and nothing was too much of a trouble. Would definitely stay again

The hotel is in the heart of Kotor and it is very clean. The receptionist was so sweet and so kind she never hesitated to give any required help or answer any question. Highly recommended

Kotor Nest is an outstanding accommodation in Kotor, thanks to its prime location near the old town. I highly recommend Daniela, the friendly staff member there. She truly deserves a glowing five-star review for her exceptional customer service, warm demeanor, and efficiency in addressing our many requests. The shared coffee/tea station outside was often a little nosiy early on and would wake us up.
Outside of the property and entrance is a bit scary looking. Rooms inside are expectionally nice and well decorated. The lady in reception was lovely, quickly helping us to register with tbe toursit office.

nothing! it was very positive.
It was low season when we went so it was nice and quiet. We had the floor to ourselves. The staff, especially Danijela, who was super helpful and kind. The room was also nicely furnished and comfortable. It was spacious and quiet. The location is also central in Old Town.

I'm not sure if it was just me, but I managed to flood the bathroom every time I took a shower. Rather than having a kettle in the room, there's a coffee and tea station in the hallway. The downside is having to leave your room each time. The upside is that it's unlimited.
The location is perfect, right in the Old Town near the main gate, and the room was spacious. The staff were all friendly, kind, and welcoming.

I think the bath tub and the room size which makes me very comfortable even though I am jut by myself. The view are alright and we can do flexible check out as well. Location wise it is near to coach station (10mins walking), near to public club on fri/sat night and the hotel is located inside Kotor old town.

It was our second stay in city of Kotor and second stay in Kotor Nest. We are not even considering alternative accommodation for our next time there. Everything we are looking for during our stay out of home is found and we truly hope for the success of their business for a long period of time. They deserve it.

There’s nothing not to like about staying here.
Location of this place is spot on, literally in the centre of town. Great sized rooms, good finish, very friendly and support staff. Would recommend staying here!

someone stole my yogurt from the fridge. But of course the staff can't be responsible for that.
The location is great. Right in the heart of the old city. There was a balcony in our room so it was a great pleasure to have morning coffee there. There is a coffee machine there with very good quality of coffee.
