When i arrived 1:30pm the last guest was still there and i had to wait hour. The hotel reception told me to could check in 12pm but it wasn't.

I really liked breakfast and room was comfy for short time but if you travel for long time i would not recommand. Overall solid 8 points.

small room for 2 people, can hear all the noise from the hallway (bad soundproofing), it’s on the 5th floor and the elevator only goes to 4 so it was a bit hard with two heavy suitcases

very warm, clean, and new! the shower got very warm (but water pressure not the best), airport taxi was arranged easily for $30 USD, there was breakfast available

There were a few mishaps but not fault of the property (water not working etc). I don’t care about that. The main reason I scored lower is that the capsule was cold and I caught a cold as a result. Maybe it’s a me issue because I didn’t figure out how to adjust it.

I loved the concept and the little touches. Staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Great amenities - cultural room, sauna.

A lot of the online reviews for many of the hotels in and around Ulaanbataar raised concerns about cleanliness, especially given how old some of the building/hotels were. This place felt new and was really clean. The owner was kind and made the process easy. We got the double bed capsule which was comfortable and eventually we upgraded to a private room with shower and toilet. This was fantastic.

Room can be a bit bigger and the in room shower can have some hooks to hang our towels or clothes when we go shower

Room though small but good enough for 2 persons. The staffs there really make the difference and make your stay so comfortable and feel so at ease with early bkf to getting the airport transfer

Unfortunately you have to pay in cash, that's the only thing that would be worth improving.

The place is modern, very well equipped, clean and the capsules themselves provide little of the privacy so common in a hostel. Breakfast is different every day. There is a modern kitchen, comfortable seating, and a nice touch is that you can walk around the whole area without shoes.

UB Pod hotel was perfect for our needs. We did trips around Mongolia and returned to sleep and refresh here everytime we came back to Ulaanbaatar. The quality-price ratio exceeded all our expectations. The hotel was well-maintained, clean, and peaceful, and the staff was extremely helpful. Happy to leave a positive review.

I got confused when booking I thought I booked a private room but actually a capsule bed. They also have bunk beds (non-capsule).

Staff was sooo friendly. They had offered via messaging if I needed pick up from my previous hotel (for a fee) and I was so grateful because I didn’t want to deal with finding a taxi on my own. I also had a lot of luggage and they were so helpful in helping me feel settled in. The facilities were super clean and I enjoyed my capsule bed a lot. Staff was so friendly and breakfast was great. Definitely hope to be back!!

I had the opportunities to be one of the first guest in this newly opened hotel. My wife and I spent a very nice night there in one of their nicest bubble bedroom. Prices available and stuffmembers were very nice and helpful with whom had a nice chat and get a nice breakfast. We are surely gonna return to this place if we are around. I stayed here for my last night in Mongolia, and now I have a reason to come back again. It’s a very friendly, relaxing and welcoming place to stay. They can speak very good English, so as an international solo traveler, you can communicate with them easily. Excellent location, brand new facilities, super friendly people, and very reasonable price. I will rate 12/10 for their hosting and come back in the future :)

I was one among the first ever guests in the structure and I felt truly welcome . Chandaar , the son of Dalai , the polite owner ,also showed deep interest for the european cuisine I cooked in the brand new kitchen of the hostel . AAA rating experience
