United KingdomThey're offerring "No-prepayment needed, pay at the property" but they will still charge your card anyway (it doesn't say anything about pre-authorization in the website either). This is annoying especially when you're just trying to book a room for someone else. Since the guest didn't have the physical card that was used to book, they had to charge the guest with a different card. They said the previous charge will take 2-3 months to be refunded, that's absurd! They rather get a very unsatisfied customer than finding a better solution!
The property is good, but the customer service and payment policy spoils it!

SingaporeThe hotel needs to improve more on storage drawers & hangers for keeping clothes & hooks in the toilet. It's best to provide bottled mineral water in the room daily as currently, we get it on the 1st day then subsequently we need to go down to the main lobby to get water refilled. We find it an inconvenient system.
This is our first time my family & I (3 pax) are visiting Macau. The hotel location is excellent just walking distance to the main attractions like St Paul's Ruin, Senado Square, Taipa Village & churches. Restaurants, shops & night market were also very convenient & accessible.

Hong KongLack of staff in checkin counter, 3:00pm checkin time was just for checkin with papers and sitting in the lobby or first floor ‘cafe’ for 1hour. The reason was cleaner was still cleaning the room and we had to wait for them and wait for the mopped wet floor in room to be dried.
Nice bed. Surrounding area is full of local restaurants and it’s near bus stop and easy to go sightseeing.

SingaporeThe facilities are dated and doesn't seem to be well maintained. Flickering light bulbs in common area are not replaced promptly. There is only one staff at the reception so it can be a long wait if there are a few guests waiting for check in.
The hotel is located right in the middle of an old street, with many eateries and a supermarket in its vicinity. It is also within walking distance to most attractions. Staff are friendly and made us feel welcome.

MalaysiaBooked 2 rooms & stayed for 5 nights, rooms cleaning was inconsistence everyday and sheets were not changed as later was told every 2 nights were supposed to change sheets. Only on the last night was told of the complimentary coffee & biscuits on the 1st floor.
Great location to food and attractions. Easy to commute by bus and walking distance to the heritage sites. On the 1st night the hotel staff was so nice to show us the local Tai Chow near the hotel. Nice food.

MalaysiaHotel staff is friendly. They allow we deposit our luggage before we head to HK. However, they did not automatically return our deposit to us when we check out, even when we collect our luggage later, they still didnt realize. Until we already at HK, realize it, send email to inform them still being blame for did not remind them. Luckily we solve it after go thru some hassle.

SingaporeLobby - The reception area and lift consistently have a sewer gas smell which gave a bad first impression. Room - The room has an unpleasant smell too. Initially, we thought the previous guests had some strong-smelling food in the room and it will fade away after a while but unfortunately, the smell was permanent. We could smell it whenever we return and opened the room door. Housekeeping - On arrival day, the room was neat and clean. The next day, the housekeeper only replenished the toiletries. The bed was not made and the floor wasn't cleaned.
Location - Close proximity to the Ruins of St. Paul's and some of the main attractions. Many eateries nearby. Room - Adequate size for that price. Provides full amenities. L'Occitane range of shampoo & bath gel is definitely a bonus. Staff - Friendly people
