How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We speak English and I could not find a English option on the tv. That would have been a nice to be able to watch tv.
I liked having a restaurant on site. The breakfast was good. The shower was large as well as the bed.

Very rude waitress at restaurant/terrace, I have mobility issues and use a crutch/stick, would not let me sit down at table on terrace while waiting for husband, lots of tables free so it wasn’t stopping anyone getting a table if wanting to eat

Some of the staff at the front desk were not as pleasant as I expected. Housekeeping and dining staff were very nice.Bathroom was really crazy with the glass door from the shower to the room

The prices of the food in the restaurant absolutely out of the blue.

the reception is at the second floor, entrance to the hotel is locked and can be opened only by ringing the reception at all times. not convenient for a hotel of this status. makes it also somewhat cumbersome to call for a taxi.
fantastic location with great view over the cruise terminal, and the seaside promenade. very centrally located at walking distance to all the city's central locations. Rich breakfast and very helpful reception staff.

Our room wasn't ready until well after 4pm There's no atmosphere in the bar or restaurant and staff ignore you

Although the breakfast offers some choice, it could be improved.
I had a good stay in this hotel, its staff is very welcoming. I was able to enjoy a good dinner at the restaurant, the dishes and starters are excellent with great service.

The price and the access to the hotel were not very convenient.
The room was spacious and had a decent view. The bed was comfortable, large, and had a good supply of pillows. The shower was neat, clean, spacious and the water pressure and temperature were perfect.

I found that the AC was weak in the room and in the hotel.

It was holyday 8 may en the shops were closed. So we did not shop only with the water taxi to he beach. The beaches are nice and clean, the entrance was verry small.
breakfast was perfect, location close to city center, friendly people and helpfull. Breakfast location outside was beautyful because jou can see the boat and see en ferry.

The pedestrian entrance is very impractical, either a huge, grand stairway, or a small, hidden elevator.
The interior design is outstanding. Breakfast is ample and pleasant.

Breakfast was served badly : lack of plates, refreshment of food , juices and napkins, spoons. Had to wait until they were brought with few reminders to the personnel.

In whole building there is a specific smell, maybe connected to the carpets, not sure though.
Very good breakfast and localization, close to bus stop and marina. Clean and comfortable. Late check out is a great deal.

I didn’t like the carpet in the room which on entry looked clean but was actually filthy with stains and not pleasant on the eye, the same with the curtains, BOTH NEED CHANGING At the plaza level there is a mat which is a trip hazard and needs replacing ASAP
The beds and facilities in the room was adequate and usable. Breakfast was nice, with a wide range of eateries to choose from. Overall room and breakfast was good

Pre-stay enquiries were awful and nearly led to me cancelling the trip. Messages were not responded to, and when a response and offer was given, it was never followed up. This needs to be addressed.
Beautifully presented, airy rooms and a fantastic balcony for breakfast. It has the perfect location by the cruise pier (but needs a taxi to get to the cruise terminal). Staff were friendly and helpful, including arranging taxis and storing luggage.

was a bit complicated to get to the room at first with the different hallways and doors. however was fine after figuring it out.
