How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It seemed that they had a pool in the describtion but that referred to the beach club. Ok with us but that might be better informed.
I liked the location. Staying in ST Julien that is close to nightlife can make it hard to sleap, but this hotell was turned away from the streets of noice so there was no problems at all. In fact the beds and room was so quiet so it was a long time since I slept so well. I also liked their cooperstion with the besch club. Very good aswell. Balcony was good. The Lady in the reception was nice and welcoming.

The location of the hotel is really close to a bus stop and the strip of St. Julians. A lot of stores around the hotel are open 24/7. The lady in the receptionist is very friendly and helpful! We had a very late check-in (at 2 am), and she was still waiting for us. The room itself was very clean and spacious. The room was cleaned daily even though we did not ask for it. There is free street parking in front of the property. However, it gets full quickly in the evening, and we need to find a parking spot in a different place. Overall it was an amazing stay

Only a very minor gripe - it would have been nice to have some tea/coffee in the room.
Wonderful and helpful receptionist. Very clean room with a lovely balcony and a glimpse of the sea. The room was large and full of light.

The electric space on each floor is a bit noise for noise sensitive people, especially the room just beside the space. But the staff kindly helped us to change a room which somehow got better. Thanks!
The reception staff was very nice and helpful. She helped us changed room based on our request, recommended good cafe with brilliant view, helped us to keep the luggage on the last day, thanks!

The beach club you get access to was a bit of a let down, it didn’t seem to be staffed, not much an atmosphere.
Very clean, comfortable and modern apartment. The location was brilliant as a base for our activities around Malta. In particular the lady on reception was super friendly and always was sure to say hello and ask about our day.

Little problem with aircon leaking , but resolved very quickly
Great location, cleaned daily, very comfortable, big room, very well maintained, staff exceptionally helpful , in busy area but very quiet , no noise. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the accommodation.

Neighbor is changing so looks a bit run down but it’s just from all the building that’s happening there
So clean, large room , nice big shower!!! hostess was so welcoming !! It was very close to the marina where you can catch buses to Valletta or go for a walk along the water and grab something to eat and you can walk to Sliemma also from there. Starbucks in a 5 minute walk !!

It’s been such a great experience. The room was clean, no noise and the staff was kind and always eager to help us. Great location as there is a great selection of restaurants nearby and very well connected with other areas of the island.

Location was great in that it was close to the restaurants and shops in that area, which means it is a little noisy at night, because you are able to hear what's happening around the area. We loved the location and the host and staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, the view upstairs (view room) was really nice. Would go back. Beds very comfortable.

I can't complain.
The location is on a quiet street, close to many restaurants and several bus stops to get around. The room was big and clean, with a nice shower. I also really enjoyed the free coffee in the morning.
