The washing facilities weren't very good. Near zero shower pressure. The room felt a bit dated for a 4 star hotel. I think some rooms need renovations.

Cleaning crew knocked on the door at 8:30 in the morningand woke me up. Asking if i wanted my room cleaned. Happened twice . Yes, i should have put the ” do not disturb” sign up but still not acceptable

On the 2de night I noticed one cockroach on the table where it was the waterboiler and the cups but when I opened the closet where it was the minibar there where like 10 of them. I was in shock how a 4* Hotel could permit this to happen. I mean if it was just 1 or 2 I could understand but unfortunattly it was not the case. So I decided to kill some of them or at least the ones that I found, after this it keept appearing more and more so I decided to take some pictures and go to the reception. I showen the pictures to the recepcionist without making any kind of unpleaseant discussion, I just asked what can you do about this? So it came the story that there was no rooms avaiable so he went up with us with some Baignon spray to kill the cockroaches. After this we couldn't be in the room for 1 hour. After this all incidente it came the next day, the lady from the reception apolagized and gave a solution to give another room so she showed us 2 rooms, with the choice one of them was really small compared to the size of the room that we had and the other slightly bigger so of course i choose the bigger one. After all this we out and by the time that we would be back supposely we could go to a proper room free of cockroaches but by the end I needed to hear that the room that I have choosen was not possible to give to me because I was staying 1 week which I dont understand the sence of that. After this I need to hear that they did not found any cockroaches in the room, I was like are you serious?! So they where looking at me like I had made this story all up. At this point I was so frustraded that was not worth any kind of argument. To finalize not even some appolagies, not even a card saying something and not even a little gesture, I was not waiting for a discount or whatever but sometimes something small make a big difference. Hopefully in the future they will rethink and do things better.

I paid €175 for a junior suite which had a terrible smell of body odour which was clearly from the last guest so the room had not been cleaned properly. I complained to the duty manager who offered me a smaller room but refused to refund the difference in cost to me and made up some excuse that because I booked through booking.com they couldn’t refund me so I decided to tolerate the smell for the night. I kept the window open all night to help circulate some fresh air into the room but sadly this meant being woken up by a cement lorry and construction workers who are working opposite the hotel. I didn’t sleep all night and went down to breakfast and sat at a table that hadn’t been set for breakfast. This was probably the worst experience of my life and has put me off returning to Malta. Avoid this hotel at all costs!

We had a horrible time, the first day we lost the whole day changing rooms because of big problems in the rooms ( the first one with the bathroom door broken, bed broken, fridge non functional) The second room the main door opened from the outside without a key, Third and last room overall Ok, a little dirty very old furniture but we just gave up! In all this we received an apology from staff, the manager refused to take responsibility and said that those things wore out of his control! So i think he never bothered to check the rooms. Ruined the start of are trip! Breakfast was ok and the location is very good. Overall I wouldn’t have given it more than one star nevertheless 4!

Aesthetics, I would suggest refreshing the rooms with a new color, and possibly replacing the mattresses, the room we stayed in is a bit vintage.

A pleasant hotel with excellent hosts who are always there for you and all the help and advice. The breakfast is excellent, the pool is nice and clean with a wonderful view. In an ideal location, the bus stop is close to all parts of Malta.

Bed was uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved. It was very loud, both outside and from people in the corridors. There was building work going on right outside the room. Gym was rubbish - just a treadmill.

We get a old, dirty room with dark bathroom and old furniture. I cannot use from the swimming pool because of the windy weather but it was not a problem for us. We checked pool and it was also old and dirty. We had unattractive view from window on garage and wall next building.

Very good level of breakfast. Very tasty and a big offer of meals.

Only 3 parking spaces doesn't mean that there is a car park! I asked for the car park but I got to know that they had only 3 spaces available and that eventually, they were always unavailable. We had to pay for an extra car park. The info on booking.com should be more specified. Since in St Julian's parking is a big problem

the pictures didn’t reflect how the hotel actually looks. The reception and lobby was nice but the rooms were a bit dated and the bathroom was very gloomy with a fake window.

There were some problems with the equipment in the room: the hairdryer was overheating and eventually stopped working,; the sheets did not cover the matress, wich was unconconfortable to sleep like that; weak water pressure in the shower; very small bathroom .

Central Location, within walking distance to all the main atractions in saint julians , with high diversity of places to eat or have a drink.

Room was an 8 but the staff were very accommodating and helpful hence the overall score of 10. Great buffet breakafast selection and chef made breakfast to order too. The pool was not big but a great addition as there are not that many places to swim in St Julian.
