You can not really leave the balcony door ajar during nighttime for some fresh air circulation. Since the hotel is on a main road and one can hear the cars passing by all during the night.

We were upgraded to superior. The room was spacious, and the minimalist design was relaxed. We had a welcoming flower being women's day.. The bathroom is exceptionally large. The view was great. The bed was large and comfortable. Exceptionally clean, no bad odours. Check-in was on time.

We had some issues with the parking in the basement. We were given a place, but somebody else parked in it, and there were no more room in the hotel parking spots. We had to argue with the guy watching the parking, and it was just a bit annoying. The bar was not always properly manned. They tried their best, but there was a bit of a wait. It was probably just that everything else functioned so well.

The view of Valetta was fabolous. We could sit there for hours and just look at it, but of course you have to go see it closer up :-) The room was really nice, and the hotel itself was great. The breakfast was very good. We started with a walking tour of Valetta, excellent. I recommend talking the boat over. It is just a short walk, and then, if you like, you can cross Valetta and take another boat for Birgu and see more. A lot to see. Mdina. Gozo.

The spa closed right when I finished work so I just got to experience it for 10 minutes.

Loved the room and the amenities in the hotel. The room is huge and beautiful, better than I expected. Very comfortable bed, balcony with a hot tub, full gym, spa, and right on the promenade.

Fantastic location with a beautiful view of the Valetta old town. Very differentiated and tasty breakfasts, nice swimming pool with very comfortable sun loungers and modern and very big gym space.

There is no reason to be upset

Our first Barcelo Hotel was in the Dominican Republic many years ago. Since that Barcelo is our favourite hotels. All services in Barcelo are the highest. And this Barcelo Fortina Malta isn't exceptional. Two amazing nights with perfect sea views from our terrace. Wonderful SPA and indoor pool. It was a relaxing and calming rest. We appreciate all the staff for their hospitality.

We stayed in a deluxe sea-view room, and it was truly fantastic. The view was stunning, the room spacious, and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to shops and restaurants.

Everything at this hotel was superb, the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, our sea view room was excellent. The breakfast was incredible with just so much choice.
