United KingdomThe pool photos online are incredibly misleading. It is a tiny paddling pool that isn't deep or wide enough to actually swim in and appeared quite grimey. The whole hotel smells a little damp and musky and is just a little worn down.
The breakfast was amazing, a great selection of cooked breakfast and continental choices which changed daily. The staff were great and couldn't do enough for us and the hotel was clean. The location was good as it is right by the sea.

MaltaIt can get a noisy at night for those who prefer to leave the balcony door open for fresh air and to listen to the sea waves. The armchairs in the room need reupholstering as they were stained. The curtains too are in a bad state and need maintenance.
Breakfast was good with a wide variety of food including Maltese pastizzi! Our room was spacious, overlooking Marsalforn Bay. The hotel is a few minutes away from the beautiful bay of Għar Qawqla which was excellent for us as we did not have to travel to go for a swim. Besides the hotel is walking distance away from one of our favourite restaurants.

MaltaThe view from the room overlooked what seemed to be a scrapyard. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. Most of all, while I specifically asked for 1 double bed I got two single beds each with a single mattress. To top it all, one of the mattresses was so much sagged in the middle that one would roll down to the centre.
Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The room was clean and personnel courteous and friendly.

United KingdomOverall the hotel feels dated. I think it might have been a 4* back in early 2000s but now its age was showing. My biggest concern was the bathroom, while clean, it looked old and didn't provide the amenities I expected from it (like shower cap). Breakfast was only okay
Loved the location of the hotel. It has all the things a hotel of this size should have. Room was spacious, balcony was nice. We really appreciated the availability of beach and pool towels. The reception provided enough information about ferries and stuff happening around. The desk was 24/7 which is nice. Minibar selection was done very smartly as you could pay one time fee to have the minibar filled.

United KingdomThe lighting in the rooms were not great and needs improvement. The roof top area, needed more sun loungers, no where near enough for everyone and needs some TLC.
The hotel is in a great location and the breakfast was lovely! The rooms were nice, we had a lovely sea view room and the rooms were cleaned well.
