I didn't like leaving, unfortunately, I had no choice!

Perfect 10 Star Upscale Resort; All You Need at a Great Location! They upgraded our room to a one-bedroom suite / apartment with living room, bedroom, full kitchen and a large bathroom with an enclosed shower, bathtub and double sink. All this including two TV’s and a full balcony across the entire apartment. Several pools, private beach area along the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea. Very good breakfast and numerous restaurants, take your pick! VIP fabulous service with concierge reception area and wonderful art in every corridor and on every wall creating a delightful atmosphere of elegance! Did I leave anything out? Oh yes, I wish I lived close enough to make a return visit, New York is quite a distance!

The hotel location, privacy and cleanliness were amazing. The breakfast was delicious and accomidated all food types from vegetables, to meats, to fruit and bakery. Tofu and fish were included. It was amazing. We appreciated all of the facilities and will surely return if in Malta again.

Signage is a little bit confusing - it takes time to understand what is where and how to get there.

This is an absolutely amazing high class hotel! The rooms are spacious, the staff are extremely well trained and attending, and the location is perfect for an undisturbed beach holiday. The food at the Indian restaurant is very tasty and authentic.

The room was not renovated. Private beach sand was not really clean, the breakfast buffet was the same every day with only little offer on vegetables and healthier food. But these are just details.

Almost everything. There was a private beach, all the restaurants, the view from Hotel, the staff was very helpful and friendly, the room service, kids pool, WiFi was excellent.

Disappointed that one of the double beds in the suite was actually simply a sofa bed, so was not very comfortable and definitely did not meet expectations of comfort when paying ~500EUR for one night in a suite! Expected better.

Breakfast, pool and staff were fabulous, truly stunning, as well as the location on the beach - love it. Extra cheers to the deliciousness of breakfast and the very kind host at breakfast!

Sometimes a bit confusing how to get to different places like the beach or the restaurant, or the reception, not everything is clearly marked. The 3 hour boat ride out was tricky (stung by a jelly fish) take vinegar : / the boat driver - guide was amateurish The Hotel completely lacked first aid plasters bandages things like that.

Hotel external areas are a little dirty in terms of umbrellas and beds, I appreciate it is the end of the season but it all felt a little old now and dated and could all do with a revamp. The restaurant seating and pool seating umbrellas are all dust and water marked and I just felt a little more attention to the finer details would have overcome the fact it also needs updating. Reminded me of the Howard Inns in Florida internally and externally- all just a bit 80's.

Great location for the beach and the ferry to Gozo. Beach team were just superb and couldn't do enough for you. Value for money and had a superb big sea view room. Stayed here to see this end of the island and do a boat trip so it worked out great. We didn't eat in the restaurants apart for breakfast.

Only gripe was that the bedroom door to the living room didn't shut and the glass door to the shower scrapped the floor when you opened it. Both really minor points that we didn't feel the need to report it during our stay. It would also have been nice to have a wider range of herbal teas in the room.

Beautiful resort with very friendly, gracious staff in all areas. Spacious, clean and modern room and very tastefully decorated. I had advised that it was our anniversary and ordered a bottle of bubbly for the room on arrival. The hotel team added a tasty Victorian sponge cake on a nice stand as an added extra. A really nice and thoughtful touch. The suite had all the mod cons in the kitchen and the TV had chrome cast, which was really useful for the day we decided to stay in. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful hotel with a great serene location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Service with a smile from staff members. Much to our kids amusement they were provided with a welcoming entertaining booklet with activities for them to do, they especially liked their "passports"! We loved the fact that sunbeds were spread out (not like squashed sardines) both outdoor and indoor. I also find the convenience shop they have within the hotel very handy especially with our young brood. I would definitely recommend Golden Sands!

I would have brightened the room a bit more allocating more lamps.

I liked the staff, who were very polite and treated us really well. Big and comfortable room, huge swimming pool with sea view, private access to the beach, excellent restaurants inside the hotel (specially "Agliolio"), tasty and varied breakfast (was included) and lovely weather.

Room service with so minor faults, forgot to put some towels a couple of times and bath wash.

Big room, well equipped with amenities for a family with kids, large balcony. Good breakfast with variety, we went early so there wasn't a lot of people. Great pool area with amazing views. Access to the beach is ideal, with private area with sunbeds and beach umbrella included.

There is absolutely nothing which any of us did not like.

It was a great experience altogether - I stayed there with my children and we had a wonderful time. the staff were very friendly and patient with the children. The pools are the best you can get. Rooms are exceptionally large.

The hotel is located in a gorgeous location in the North of Malta, next to a splendid beach. Our room was like a small apartment, complete with all facilities including a kitchen. We were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great, as were the spa facilities. We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor pools. The landscaped areas are very beautiful.
