The room could do with additional plug sockets and/or better located sockets. It would have been nice to have a drink/kettle area in the room as there is space for one, however the vending machine on ground floor was always well stocked.

The view from my room across the sea was beautiful. Lovely sized room had everything I needed. The cleaning team were excellent.

There are no sockets beside the bed, it’s all across the room. There should be a more efficient curtain against clarity. Bathroom could be renovated, bathtub with curtain is not very hygienic, it looks dirty and moldy.

Excellent location. Across the street from the beaches, good restaurants and bus stops. The pizza restaurant beside the hotel is really good. The view from the room was beautiful! The staff were helpful and kind and the room was clean constantly

Although the room was cleaned every day,towels changed,beds made up etc I didn't like that two single beds were fixed together with two single mattresses and on most occasions two separated duvets,so a little uncomfortable at times.i don't think the balconies were cleaned very often,dust on table,chairs,guard rails etc.Not really a major problem because we wiped everything ourselves. The bath needs attention on it's inner surfacing. No drinking glasses in room No extractor fan in bathroom although there is a window with louvres which seemed to back onto another person's window and their light was constantly on and shining into the bathroom and we could hear their conversations. The rooms in general are not really soundproofed and we could hear conversations through the walls No iron in room,but I do believe there was one available behind the reception desk The room safe was defective when trying to lock with the key provided,bit outdated and old,did report it but it seemed that it could not be resolved but was offered to store any valuables in the safe behind the reception,not very satisfactory seeing that access is not under my control.

The seafront balcony location on the 4th floor was really good and enjoyed sitting out watching the world go by. There was always instant hot water The lift was always functional There were vending machines in the foyer for snacks and drinks Helena on the front desk was very polite and willing to stop and chat when not busy and always had a smile for us when we arrived through the hotel entrance and was always very helpful as was the manager,who was also named Helena.

I needed a place to stay for an extra night and a half after my flight was rescheduled, so I was looking for something affordable and central. In this way, Sliema Chalet fulfilled my needs. However, I did find the single room very small and a bit depressing. The window opened on to a light well, so there was no view and very little natural light. The air conditioning was difficult to adjust to a comfortable level - it was either too cold or not effective enough. While the cleaning service was in progress, I glimpsed one of the bigger rooms at the front overlooking the sea and that looked very nice. I would stay there again - but only in one of those rooms at the front.

The location right on the sea front in Sliema is good. Shops, restaurants, the ferry to Valletta and the departure point for boat trips are all within walking distance. The property was clean. There were vending machines in reception for coffee and snacks, plus a lift, hairdryer and air conditioning. 24-hour reception and helpful staff, particularly during the evening.

It was pretty much a great place to stay except a small few things such as the lack of plugs next to our beds and there was no where to plug my hair dryer with a mirror in front.

Great view and connectivity through the city. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. Good cafes just a few steps away from the hotel where you can enjoy a cold beverage with a great view of the sea.

Tiny single bed by any standards. The tired bed linen only covered half the bed. Not much natural light.

Location: Sliema is a welcome break from Valletta. Only a 10 minute ferry ride away. Fresh air and sea views. However my room had internal views (as expected) and there was plenty of public space across the road. The hotel is very utilitarian - no frills.

We didn't find out about the roof top terrace or the shared kitchen until the last day of our stay. We suffered as there was no fridge in the room. Missed opportunity for us.

The location was absolutely fabulous. Steps to bus stops, cafes and restaurants. Wonderful sea views. It was a short walk to a supermarket and Silema ferries. Good central location. Staff were helpful especially as we checked in early morning.

We faced quite a lot of issues including key not working and the main elevator being broken. The hotel was cleaning our room on a daily basis which was awesome but the room itself looked dirty (walls and bathroom condition was bad)

The bathroom should be renovated, the room should have a kettle for tea and coffee. There is no stove, microwave, knives or basic kitchen items in the shared kitchen.

Wonderful and friendly staff, large roof terrace with a wonderful view of the sea, close to the bus station, promenade, close to the center and shops. Big room and comfortable beds.
