I didn’t like the limited choice of teas for breakfast and the fact that the window tables were always reserved. Didn’t come accross this practice in other hotels. The toiletries were very limited so make sure you take everything with you.

Location is good and the view from the top floor.

The hotel is in a handy location with buses going to the Gozo ferry as well as to Valletta, Sliema, Mdina and the airport. You are also a 30 min walk to beautiful sandy beaches or a 10 minute bus. The hotel is clean and the staff are nice and professional. My scoring is a little low for 2 reasons. Primarily it is the draining in the bathroom. It is a wet room and the extractor fan doesn’t appear to be strong enough to manage it. This means condensation would sometimes build up in the room if I showered right before going out and I couldn’t leave the balcony door open, and I’d often be dealing with a wet floor / wet feet and wet trouser hems if I had to use the bathroom after showering as one of the drains is right between the sink and toilet. I mentioned it to staff but really I think this is just bad design. My only other issue was the pools are quite small and the hotel attracts a lot of families. This meant that it was hard to enjoy the pool in peace as there were always kids splashing around and it was kind of hard to avoid them - literally and physically. There isn’t a life guard so the 8pm rule doesn’t really seem to be enforced.

I didn’t realise how big the hotel is ( my fault). It is very crowded. Breakfast: there was good selection of fruits but fruit juices were not nice at all. Breakfast area was crowded and wasn’t enough staffs to clear the tables. We had to call staffs to clear it use the table. Most of staffs are not very welcoming. There was unpleasant smell when you enter the breakfast area and in door pool area. Beds are a bit uncomfortable.

Property was clean. We have booked two rooms and It was close to each other.

Staff were lovely and accommodating. Rooftop pools were lovely, with gorgeous views of the city. The reception area with cafe has fun, friendly vibes, there was excellent live music playing one evening which we really enjoyed. Our studio room had a nice balcony, however, the balcony lacks privacy, as it looks on to/overlooked by other balconies. Moreover… We found someone else’s dusty underwear under the chest of drawers in our studio room, so we were unhappy with the cleanliness. The double bed was basically two single beds joined together, which wasn’t the most comfortable. However, the beds were very spacious. The furnishing is pretty outdated. We booked a studio room with kitchenette…the ‘kitchen’ is basically in a cupboard.

The overall experience was good as the breakfast was deliciuis, bed is comfy and a really good location. However, the variety of food was limited, the situaation with pools is not really clear (which ones are heated and what exactly works during what hours). Additionally, hotel has a smell of mold which affects the rooms as well, we had a towel with red stains - but the staff reacted quickly and organized a cleaning for us.

The toilet door was broken, the pools were cold. The stuff told that someone is going to give us vine, but it didn’t happen. There was no slippers, but the floors were cold. The stuff kind of made to take upgrade for room (for extra cost). They gived us wrong key for room. I would never stay there again.

They had the service to book excursions which was nice, and the value was good. However, many things like the rooftop bar were closed for the season. There also was no hot-tub, which was sad, but there was a good little kiddy pool probably around a foot deep next to the big outdoor pool. Towels not easily available, but I bet the roof top would be great during the summer! On site breakfast was good, nothing special, but convenient. However, some of the dishes at their restaurant Tosca were not very good, while others were very tasty, like the lasagna. Crowd was younger, with families and a business convention mixed in too. All being said, it was a good stay for a weekend (25 min walk to beach).

Paying attention to detail. They should make it clear that spa only means sauna cabin and nothing else Loads of unused space...put changing rooms in the sauna area.

Food was excellent. Massage was excellent. Indoor pool facilities - lots of attention to detail needed. No changing rooms in sauna/pool area. No immediate water facilities. Had to leave pool, walk through hallway to arrive to the gym, walk through to rear of the gym to get water. No attendant in the pool area. Bedroom very nice, however, bathroom had cracked tiles with some mould coming through. Could sometimes smell the bad smell of drains through the bathroom drains. Very disappointed that there was no steam room or Jacuzzi in the building as advertised as Spa Hotel. Staff were very nice and helpful.

There were four glasses in each room. Cleaning staff did not seem to know the glasses needed cleaning daily and not with towels,

Breakfasts went well. Room cleanliness could have been better. Staff at reception were very good. Noise at night could have been a bit less door banging's.

It claims to be a 4 star hotel but it doesn't feel this way. The service is good but not 4 star quality. I would say its a nice 3 star hotel, but wouldn't advertise it to be 4 star. I would expect a stocked minibar and iron in all the rooms if it would be a 4 star hotel. Alot of things were available at additional costs. For example a robe and slippers must be paid for and a deposit must be left, this doesn't feel like 4 star service. The room was also superficially clean. The room service menu was covered in dust amd a bit sticky.

The hotel is good for the price.

The spa itself is very disappoints. The outdoor pool is cold (impossible unless it's summer) and the indoor pool is not warm enough and doesn't really have anything special. Plus, until 8 pm it's full of noisy kids. I feel kinda insulted I paid extra through Booking to use that, especially since no one checks whether you did or not once you are there.

Considering what I paid, it was great.

This hotel is in desperate need of some refurbishment and tlc. The bed was hard and lumpy. In our room you can blatantly see there was no attention to detail or maintenance. Damaged and broken tiles, light switches not working correctly, we had to turn off one light at night by unscrewing. All chrome bathroom accessories were coming off the wall or fixed very crooked. Bath towels all worn out. Looks like a drunk person has done the painting. TV and pictures on wall very in level. In general just no care taken.

    Good location and friendly staff.
