the location around the hotel is busy and crowded with buildings. I counted 6 cranes in close proximity from the roof pool but also directly behind the hotel is a building site. The building began at 6.30 every morning. This was my view! We had already been moved because the first room was a long way from the actual hotel, down in the lift, walk along, up in the lift, more walking! Not good if you have disabilities so mention mention booking, we had no idea it would be such a huge hotel and would encounter this problem!

Staff at reception had attitude. I guess it was because he had a very bad day but then we aure didnt deserve to be talked this way. The room is located in another building, we have to take 2 lifts to get to the room. Rooftop is nice but very crowded and too small for the amount of people.

The air-conditioning was faulty and although the hotel tried to fix it, it continued to turn off. It was very uncomfortable because of this. I would have expected the hotel to offer us another room with working air-conditioning. We booked this room for working air-conditioning and we didn't get it. Also the pillows and bedding were not clean and smelt awful.

The breakfast was lovely. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant tosca was fabulous and staff were very attentive. The pool area was great and had a lovely view.

Room is well equipped. Breakfast was average, hotel needs refresh, we couldn't fully open door to our apartment, there was a sand inside additional bed, besides the rest was fair but price for such quality is too high

in 4 nights they didn’t change sheets bed(I had to ask for it) the handle for the balcony window was broken and we asked to repair (with 2 kids it was important) they came but never fixed. they never clean the bathroom and the bedroom was not clean properly. the lobby is very new and modern, while the rooms not.

Our room only had an internal window which felt incredibly claustrophobic. The air conditioning did not keep the room cool overnight and it was a very restless night. Our room had an adjoining but locked door to another room. The people in the adjoining room returned late at night & very drunk. They were so loud, swearing & shouting obscenities through the adjoining door which upset us and kept us awake. Finally we could hear hotel staff talking to them through the door but no one apologised to us and it spoilt the stay for us!

We stopped off for one night en route to Gozo. Really lovely lounge and entrance… The staff were really helpful on arrival as we were quite late. The bed was very comfortable as was the bathroom.

One of the two rooms we booked smelt of drains/sewers, and after having told staff 3 times, but nothing getting done by maintenance, we gave up and dealt with it for our stay. Breakfast was a huge deception: a lot of choice but not very good quality and rather "industrial" products. Too bad as we ate out every meal for our 7 day stay. Sofa bed in family room was old and uncomfortable. It is not because children will probably be sleeping on it, that it should be bad quality. Not to mention that my wife and I slept on it, because the children complained of back pain after 2 nights. Unfortunately we were not given communicating rooms, which we knew was a possibility. However there was a communicating door in the family room and we know that the occupants changed have way through our stay, so seemed like a lack of organisation/willingness on the hotel's part. The hotel was on an extremely busy Main Street. There was no problem with the noise, but very dangerous with young children as the buses drive by extremely quickly and the pavement is very small.

Noise during the night (at 4am there was the cleaning service in the halls, slamming the doors in the rooms next to us was so loud, we has a room on the ground floor), I did not sleep well at nights. Breakfasts were completely the same every single morning (we spent there 5 days) and the quality of food was not always fine (bad quality of some fruit, vegetable), butter was only in a salty version. The hotel has entrance right from the busy road, so you must be very careful with your kids.

Our room had a balcony to the quiet part of the hotel which we appreciated a lot. Swimming pools were great too. Bus stops right in front of the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Dining room for breakfasts was large enough to feel comfortable.

Bad smell in the room coming from the bathroom. Balcony with walls. No view through the windows. Very uncomfortable couch for children. The price of breakfast is not adequate to the quality.

The hotel seems to be very old, our room was begging for renovation, at least some furniture/towels (esp bathroom - see some pictures with a plastic chair!) To go to the room you have to go by elevator to the -1 floor and then with another elevator - to your floor, takes time and very annoying. On the way, you pass the stairs to the spa and it smells so terribly strong with chlorin - I was scared to visit it because I am not sure how to breathe in that place. And it has appeared you can get spa-set (with bathrobe) only for extra money.

The location is quite nice.

Initially room we were given was very dark, gloomy. Apparently this was what I had booked though the description and pictures did not match. Upgraded to a much better and brighter room (which was the one pictured when I made the booking). This made our stay so much more enjoyable.

Rooftop pool was fantastic, as was the spa.

Doesn't deserve four stars, I had an upgraded room but it wasn't cozy at all and it smelled weird. It might seem like a high quality place but actually isn't. Masses of people and bored employees who weren't that guestfriendly. Cannot recommend.

The location was nice with a good view. The outdoor pool would be the highlight.

Balcony facing a blank wall, housekeeping starting between 7-8am every day and shouting down the corridor, loud music coming from the pool area one floor up really early, mixed access to the car park - it's advertised (and paid extra) for 24/7 access but the guard isn't always there and the door is shut in the evening, in the morning it's not the first time we got stuck for over 30+mins waiting for their deliveries to be done. Complained due to the repeated shouting in the middle of the night (2am), staff didn't do anything. Room was large but was dirty (sand in the shower and garbage on check-in day) - floor wasn't wiped once in the whole 5 days trip.

The shower drain was put the other way round and we had a leak when we showered. Good thing we realised what the problem was and fixed it ourselves.
