The furniture is too old and should be changed. The breakfast is nice but super simple.

First of all there were ants running across all of the walls, floor and even going to our suitcases, clothes, toiletries, personal things. Second thing is the water which was dropping from the ceiling in the time of rain (also there was water dropping from a lamp, which I believe electric and water isn’t the best and most safe combo!) - the owner told us that it’s normal, but I don’t think so :(

Great place, right on the waterfront, fabulous view over the sea from the balcony. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple but clean and very comfortable, town is just a short walk away. Would have no hesitation in recommending and we would happily stay again.

This hotel is a 10 in my book.I think it is a family run business and very home like.. Everything is efficient and friendly. They went over and beyond the ‘call of duty’ I would stay here over a big fancy expensive hotel .Will be back and stay longer.

There was no direct beach to walk on if you step outside, but at least i could see the sea. Bedding is just a sheet. Our water was cold to shower and the wifi was weak

Bed and sofas were uncomfortable. Better bedding would have been nice. The shower facility was poor. Hot water cuts off mid shower. Furniture was ancient. Not enough hangers for clothes. Instead of shower curtain, there could have been a glass shower cubicle. Guests ought not to be wiping water off the floors. 🙄

Unsatisfactory breakfast. Location to the bay was good, considering the proximity to the water.

Room in the second floor. Views from balcony. Good location, close to waterfront. Close to town,market,restaurants, parking space. Good value for money we pay. Next time i would stay at least 5 days in Mahebourg to see more of its surroundings

Had to climb two flights of stairs with 20kg of baggages. The WiFi couldn’t extend to the room - so in order to use, you needed to be in certain locations outside.

Breakfast on offer had no choice or option - but it was basic and okay.

There were cockroaches and ants found in the room. The TV is very outdated, cannot watch anything, property advertised flat screen TV but it was a very old box TV in room. The bed was very small for two people, not comfortable at all. The property advertised AC and electric kettle in the room but these were not available. Only a fan is available on the ceiling, which on the higher settings had such a loud sound, which was not bearable. The room was dusty with old furniture also. The bathroom was dark and not clean. Breakfast was included in our stay but the breakfast was poor, with just a piece of bread and coffee. Overall, the whole site was dark, cramped, not like how the pictures had been used to advertise. You can hardly find any staff for assistance. Check in and check out process was very slow as well.

I would recommend looking for alternative accommodations. The property, though seemingly appealing in photos, especially the garden view, falls short in reality. The swimming options are limited to a small pool. The entire establishment carries a Hindu-style aesthetic, which may feel cluttered and chaotic to some. The breakfast area, resembling what one might find in a slum, does not inspire confidence in dining there. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms is questionable, with unclean walls being a notable concern. Coupled with outdated amenities, slow Wi-Fi, inefficient air conditioning, and a lack of elevator for upper floors, the overall experience is significantly diminished. The ill-fitting bedding, loud toilet, and the need for an urgent renovation further contribute to a less-than-ideal stay. I definitely would not choose to stay here again.

Breakfast was excellent. No Airconditioning in the rooms. Only one room had air conditioning. Gyzer (water heater) was not working in one room. sink was leaking in one room (pipe was out). Had to hear from my friends because there was no air conditioning.

Looks better in pictures than the reality. In reality it looks poorly maintained, water marks on the ceiling and peeling off paint, no AC, only one electricity port in the room, ventilator not fixed well to the ceiling so it looked like it might drop off as it was moving too much to the sides

Beautiful place for a budget hotel. Sea view . Beautiful pool just as in the picture. Good breakfast and great staff. 14 mins drive from airport. Good TV with Netflix.
