Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomSoft drinks were watered down. Cost of speedboat transfer is high-$150 pp.
Staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. All inclusive plan gave a good selection of dining/ snacks all day. Included activities - boat cruises and kayaking were enjoyable. Lots of good snorkelling.

GermanyIt is quiet expensive at the souvenir shops. The resort needs more sunbeds and umbrellas, there is a lack of them and tourists fight over sunbeds all the time. We didn't really had an open beach in front of our Deluxe villa, it was nice, but still not much beach and higher price than the normal beach villa. The host Maram can be more professional, she wasn't really helpful.
Beautiful island and resort. Beautiful flora and fauna. Meals at the restaurant were great, lots of variety and themed dinner nights. Room was huge with all the necessary facilities. Stuff was really nice. Clean everywhere. I loved the surprise for our anniversary. The massage studio is something that I recommend. Really affordable services with experienced and polite personal.

MalaysiaIt's quite a walk to the restaurants and activity areas. Buggy is available but not many. There's short waiting time for buggy pick-up. No slippers provided, have to request and takes awhile to be delivered. The excursions and spa prices are on the high side.
The deluxe beach seaview has stunning sunrise view, very spacious room & comfortable beds. Has a nice porch to lounge right at the white sand beach. Room amenities were good with outdoor style shower and toilet. Took all inclusive package, several free flow restaurants/bars serving delicious international f&b around the clock.

United KingdomThe watersports centre had a severe lack of equipment and the equipment they do have is not in the best state of repair. Only had 1 dinghy, not great as we chose the resort for the watersports. For example the windsurf sails were held together with duct tape, then the hiring clauses were very heavy on charging for any damage. As someone who runs a watersports centre, I can say this is a bad way to run things. If you are going to charge for accidental damage, you need to have lots of new equipment to show for it, not just use duct tape to hold together your old minimal assets.
Staff were great, rooms were lovely. Beaches were very clean and spa was also very good.

United KingdomWe felt 2nd class as did the mojority of guests who stayed in beach bungalos. Reason being we had to eat All our meals in unairconditioned buffet restaurant which had a very sandy floor area throughout. People who paid a premium for water villas were allowed to take All there meals in air conditioned seperate restaurant with permanent wooden or decked floor. Going to eat in decent shoes was not acceptable walking in sand each and every mealtime. Fans in the buffet were No compensation for the Air conditioned restaurant for our water villa guests. Not Not impressed nor did we know until we became aware during our stay. Would Not go again !

Bulgaria- no real food between 10pm and 8am - the villas designated restaurant personnel- our experience there was poor. - the daily fumigation does not kill only mosquitoes, it kills all creatures, ants, flies, the bathroom is filled with dead species every morning, it is pity really. - the live bar band is mainly melancholic songs, wished for them to be more cheerful
- quiet spacious rooms - the relaxed atmosphere on the island - the free snorkeling equipment rental - the variety of alcoholic drinks and cocktails included in the stay - the free snorkeling tour and dolphin tour - the amenities in the room - the burger bar - the themed shark dinner - the barman evening show

United Arab EmiratesOften, inter departments for eg housekeeping not speaking with reception may lose a bit of communication requirements. But your on an island, so easy addressable issues fixed straight off.
The thoroughness of staff in onboarding and orientation the families. Great night granted in sea villas a bonus.especially Sandra and Sumit. The easy style and all-inclusive means exactly that. Great time for families with kids. Sharks, waterworks, all part of great time.

PolandThe hotel is on an island, and the only way to get there is by a service that the hotel provides. I thought this would be included in the price of the hotel. But the hotel charged us for taking us from the airport to the hotel and back. It cost almost as much as the hotel itself. This was a big surprise, and we think it should not be like this the food is very average and in such place you expect higher level

United Arab EmiratesAs a premium all-inclusive I expected better option for food and a higher level of service from the staff. The Sunset restaurant is set aside for water bungalow residence with beach bungalows having the opportunity for 1 booking. Tried to book the morning after we arrived and couldn't get a dinner booking. We booked breakfast and it was nice, but the food choices are similar to that in the Banyan. The Banyan needs stronger management and training of staff. Coffee machines were constantly in need of repair, glasses and cups were often in need of replacement. Staff are left reactive, rather than proactive. We have stayed at 3 and 4 star all-inclusives in Mexico and had restaurant staff that were far more professional. There is potential, but there needs to be better training of staff and monitoring.
The location is stunning. The island is larger and has both quiet bean and high surf areas. We stayed in a beach bungalow and it was really lovely. The reception (Ksenia was very accommodating and responsive), cleaning and maintenance staff were friendly and professional. An incredibly relaxing stay.

Czech Republic- food/buffet was disappointing, always the same options, even though they have “themed nights” the buffet looked the same and with not many options - I am gluten free and many times it happened that based on their labeling the meal was gluten free but then I was informed by the chef running after me that actually it’s not gluten free - premium all inclusive and still there are a lot of drinks for extra charge like Aperol, Corona, Pina Colada, Bloody Mary etc - ocean villas are not worth the extra money, very outdated, small patio outside and the ocean floor around is covered in seaweed only
- big island full of activities (table tennis, tennis, badminton, football, water sports, .. you name it) - resort is being cleaned daily from fallen leaves etc so it’s really clean - only 30 mins by speedboat from MLE airport - beach villas are nice, spacious, right at the beach - great for surfers as there’s a part of the island dedicated to them with huge waves, it’s also nice just to watch them and have pizza and a drink at the adjacent bar

Czech RepublicEvery activity you want to do, you have to pay extra for it, e.g. dinner on the beach - we got it for free in other islands; we had premium all inclusive stay, still we had to pay for entrance to a beach party with premium alcohol… i understand extra cost for trips, scuba diving and so on, but other services like massages or dinning in a more special way were too expensive, as well as goods in the shop (souveniers, cosmetics). However, this is what you expect when you travel for holiday to a resort :)
Huge villas on a beautiful island, so many trees, we loved it! Food was very good, especially the indian section was delicious. There was a lagoon where you could encounter small sharks and rays while snorkling. Apart from the lagoon - nothing to see in the ocean, no corals.

QatarIt was disappointing when we were told we could have a late check out and told on the morning of our departure we could not. Also paying for premium all inclusive to find out not all drinks were included. Only having one beer in a premium package is not good enough. The day trips were extremely expensive. It should also be clear that one night in the al la carte restaurant is indeed that and not the buffet. Finally been told we had to pay for lunch when we were all inclusive once we checked out and were waiting for the water taxi is not in good taste.
The location was amazing.
