We had an absolutely wonderful week at Kuramathi. This is a fabulous resort and island and being able to snorkel on the reef right from our “Over the Water Villa with Pool” was incredible. There are two people that we would like to especially mention as they helped make our stay as wonderful as it was. Sama is the head chef of the Farivalhu restaurant and due to our dietary restrictions, he personally showed us what was safe for us to eat for each meal. Not only did he make sure we ate safely but he made us special desserts for each lunch and dinner as we were unable to eat the deserts that were offered. The other person who we would like to thank is Yazdhann who cleaned our villa twice a day. He really did an excellent job and was friendly, polite and thoughtful. We highly recommend Kuramathi Island Resort.

Amazing location with great infrastructure with much choice for the villas, restaurants, bars, etc and many facilities for sport activities, snorkeling, etc. Staff is very professional and pleasant, we particularly liked the Laguna bar and friendly staff (with a special mention for barmen Samka and waitress Rima.

Speedboat transfer was more like a 100 seat ferry rather than one of the small speedboats often seen around Malé. A small beer costs $10, and the mini-bar price for 200ml of Jura Whisky is ridicules at $223 (i.e. about £900/Litre). Vodka was $179/500ml

Maybe little be too big for romantic vacation.

My stay at Kuramathi resort in the Maldives was extremely satisfying. The destination is perfect for relaxation and water sports enthusiasts. The island is designed as a single resort but divided into three parts with their own restaurants. The main restaurants offer diverse and delicious food that caters to different tastes. Despite some smaller restaurants being outside the basic all-inclusive package, the food selection in the main ones suffices. The accommodation in the water villa is delightful, providing a high level of privacy, and the private jacuzzi on the terrace enhances the experience. Easy access to the coral reef from the villas on the outer part of the island is an additional plus. The island boasts lush vegetation, which, combined with white beaches and clear waters, creates a quality experience. Due to additional children’s programs, the island is also suitable for families, especially recommending beach villas instead of water villas for families.

On days, some of the buffet lunch/dinner was not up to standards as the other day, but overall had a good selection of items and cuisines.

Real paradise! Kuramathi is a large natural island with a length of 2 km covered with a wide variety of trees, it is a small jungle! Ideal island for nature lovers and people who like walking and swimming, with beautiful traditional spacious houses. It provides a free buggy service from one end of the island to the other every 15 minutes. It has many restaurants and you can dine by reservation and in the rest, it has many choices of bars, cafes, etc. The food is excellent with many different options daily and incredible sweets. It has excellent infrastructure and the staff is very kind and helpful. It has a wonderful sand bank with a fantastic beach.

Only annoying thing is smoking is allowed in doors at the bars. But its pretty open and you can get around it a fair bit.

the view, the deluxe water villa was great, could swim off the front! the food had a great variety. Definitely get at least basic inclusive! Staff at Laguna were great.

The overwater villa with the pool was very clean. The buffet served different cuisines each day and had a good variety of food. The bars also served great cocktails! The ocean view was amazing and the water was warm. Shout out to Pawan Kumar who looked after us - he ironed my shirt even though I only requested an adaptor for the iron!

Being super picky here...but as it was SO hot, ice cream in the buffets would have been welcome. The only option to get any ice cream was in the middle of the island at a cost if you were anything ither than select all inclusive. There was a lack of communication regarding travel home itinerary. The information re sea plane time, breakfast on departure day is was actually on the TV but we weren't told about this at check-in and we never had the TV on. Easily resolved, we just walked to reception and they gave us a point out.

The location of our superior beach villa room to the beach, our alloted restaurant, and other amenities was perfect. We booked the basic all inclusive package and were never once disappointed with the buffet. There was so much choice, flavour and quality was excellent and never repetitive. The snorkeling off the house reef is also great, we saw sharks, turtles and all the colourful reef fish. We also did two snorkeling trips - Whale shark and Manta Ray, and saw both animals, the guides were knowledgeable and respected the animals welfare. We had a fantastic time and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Very small details to improve only. The app needs work and it's not useful at the moment. No digital menu. Lack of information with opening times on excursion center and other outlets on the doors. Variety on the buffet was sometimes lacking, mostly curries and tuna, but other days the variety was great with many different choices.

Everything was great. Since we arrived into the airport until we left. Transfers were great, room was outstanding with a killer view, jacuzzi and very comfortable. Definitely recommend the diving and snorkeling here. Also the cocktails were quite good especially in Laguna Bar and Fungi bar. The food in the buffet was also good quality.

Sand band is a little disappointing. There are fewer fish when snorkeling, and the Jacuzzi is a little weak and needs to be heated for 1-2 hours

This place is like a paradise! Wonderful island. The staff is very welcoming and very helpful and this includes just everyone there - from check in team, waiters, cleaning team, crew operating boats. Amazing sandy beaches, loads of facilities, pools. The food and drinks selection is very good. We have stayed in one of the water villa's with the pool and the experience is just incredible. Definitely coming back again.

Felt a little like we were chased out of our rooms sometimes for cleaning in the evenings. Twice a day felt like a lot for us. Once a day would be plenty.

Incredible place to stay with lots of activities. Food was also incredible. Rooms were just as we expected, beautiful!
