Service on the beach could be better. We had to look for a waiter to order food/drinks but once you got them they were great.

The sheets and bed linens are old and overwashed. They felt like polyester, not cotton, so they were muggy and too hot in that humid environment. The bath towels were old too - so an upgrade on linens would be helpful. The refrigerator was a bonus but an ice tray or ice bucket would be nice. Deluxe Bungalow with sea view is beautiful, but up a steep flight of stairs (no elevator) (Two Beds) The Beach front Bungalow is directly across from the water - no stairs - one large bed. Excellent location

Excellent breakfast, excellent coffee. Very nice environment, music selections in the dining room were perfect. Early in the morning a quiet, comfortable place to write in my trip diary. Afternoons and evenings were busy by the pool, but dinner was delicious; bbq'd barracuda and the best grilled veggies we had in Mexico. The artwork in this hotel was wonderful - amazing paintings and mosaic tiles everywhere.

We really enjoyed our stay! The king bed was great, super cute property, and the included breakfast was delicious and huge! The fresh orange juice was delicious. The location is perfect

Unfortunately our bungalow was right beside the sewage drain, which was backed up on the first day and was extremely smelly. They did have someone come and fix the first day though.

Beach facilities can get taken over a bit by day trippers from the cruise ships during the week. Not too much of an issue when we were there, though

Perfect location on the beach front in Mahahual. Near to some good restaurants. Lovely staff that are very keen to help and provide great service. Has an authentic Mexican feel about it. Not luxury but we were very comfortable.

The most perfect room with a view of the ocean and the cruise ships passing . Evan and his staff made our holiday vacation just right . Perla and Rafael couldn't do enough to make it just right. We had the best anniversary dinner on the terrace. Rib eyes end cocktails..the portions were huge ! We loved NBC so much we already booked our next visit ..this will be our new go to place . Diana gave the best massage ever. great job amigos !

Had a problem with the drain outside the room, not their fault though. Pool was a bit off because of the very bad weather in the days prior to our arrival

Food plentiful and excellent quality. Deal with the free breakfast very good...full till mid afternoon! Properly made/mixed cocktails using fresh ingredients. No pre-mix. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Good sense of humour. English spoken if you couldn't speak Spanish. Right on the beach. Good sunbeds.

The breakfast areas were not shaded from the low sun - it was very hot on both days.

Very colourful property with a great beach vibe opposite the warm Caribbean Sea. We stayed in the blue cabin which was nice and cool with hammocks nearby.The reception were very helpful (organised an excellent snorkelling trip). The breakfasts were good with nice fruit, yoghurt and granola, toast and Mexican dishes. Mahahual is worth a visit, so nice to see the sea after the over development of Tulum

bed is not comfortable. cockroach came out from shower drain, but this is very common everywhere in the area. location is amidst many establishments and one of them had very loud music all night until sunrise due to a wedding, if you need quiet nights - might need to stay away from center. barriers to prevent sargaso from coming onto the beach, inflatables and nets, are installed all along the beach and most hotels and beach clubs.. it makes the view rather unpleasant and you can't easily climb over them to get to the deep enough water to swim. this allows only little children to splash in the water. areas outside of town and by the lighthouse are great for swimming, but they are very littered with beer bottles and lots of people drinking in groups all over, so you don't feel very secure to leave your bag and go swimming... wish they would remove the sargaso barriers from in front of the hotels and allow it to come and go naturally. at least you could use the beach during the times when it's not present .

beautifully decorated, handcrafted and handmade, you feel the love and admiration for the area that the owner have. for those who love this kind of style, the place will feel magical and very comfortable. loved it! breakfast was very good.

I love that is an amazing pet friendly alternative and mi dogs have the time of their lives this is the second time we visit National and is so beautiful an peaceful . We really love the place and will keep coming back

People with dogs on the beach and some people let them on the beach chairs but that is uncontrollable by the hotel. It is people's lack of respect for others who don't share their extreme affinity with animals.

The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The beach is clean and the water calm like a pool. Perfect for floating around.
