SwitzerlandThere were 2 big dead cockroaches in the room + a couple of little alive ones in the bathroom. The man that received us was very nice, his wife too, but the girl (I'm guessing it's their daughter) is very apathetic.
They have a mini fridge, a microwave and Netflix.

FranceI would not recommend anybody to go there because they stole our stuff and they came into our room while we were at the beach. The personal is not sympathetic, they yelled at other customers at 11:55 to go out of their room. They came into our room without cleaning it. Many cockroaches in the bathroom.
It‘s confortable. You habe what you need.

United KingdomThe hob for cooking was not yet working! In addition to this when we accidentally lost our key, (which we happily would pay for a new one) a spare was not provided, they tried to charge us to pay locksmith (fair enough) but also replacement of lock because the locksmith had to break it which was very expensive considering we had simply lost a key!! A new room was not given, thus we slept in an unlocked room which put us at unease.
the room was lovely and clean, walk in wardrobe for clothes, bed was huge and comfy !!

FranceIt was the worst hotel in my life. First, the room was dirty. When I say dirty I mean dead and alive insects everywhere, particularly in the bed and under the sheet, on the floor and in the bathroom. We could not stay too long in the bathroom because of the smell and the dirt. then, the location is horrible as well, you are obliged to take a taxi (10 dollars) for 10 minutes because it’s in the jungle with no light and hungry mosquitos. We tried to come back by bike but we were eaten by the insects. finally, the owner of the hotel is not nice at all. he did not allow us to change our reservation, he is never present in the hotel and he is impolite. And I would add : the air conditioner that doesn’t work, no soap, dirty towel, no table light, everything is in concrete, the light shines at 6am because the curtains are too thin and so more honestly it was the worst hotel in my entire life. We stayed 2 nights and then changed of hotel because we could not stand it anymore. it’s the first time that I write a bad comment but it was the first time that I lived that.

United Kingdomvery far from the centre with no facilities for getting there or back. 150 pesos for a taxi on the island so better to invest that money in a central hotel. they don’t even have bikes to take around which is a bit silly considering the distance! at night walking back there are no street lamps so it’s quite precarious and doesn’t feel necessarily safe, plus the roads get full of sandflies and mosquitoes!

Germanythe French guy working there (I think he’s the owner) was probably the most rude person working in hospitality that I’ve met. we asked him nicely in the morning to order us a cab at 4. we got back at 4 by the looks of it they forgot so they ordered it then. at 4:30 we decided to actually leave as we had better chances of just finding a cab driving by. before, I told him he should maybe tell guests that ordering taxis is not reliable as cab drivers sometimes don’t come (he blamed it on the cab drivers). when I told him this he started yelling at me calling me rude and that I should do my own research and get some education on the area. If I was alone - without my partner - I would have felt unsafe. terrible experience. avoid, you can find much better places where people treat you with respect.
