Highly do not recommend, worst hotel stay that I have ever had. My first night I was placed in a hotel room directly above the theatre that has LOUD entertainment every night starting at 9pm until at least past midnight. The hotel did eventually move me to another room and I was supposed to be “gracious” that they weren’t charging me more money for this new room - it was quieter, but the shower in the new room had zero water pressure. The hotel is all inclusive and boasts that it has three sit down restaurants plus a buffet- you can’t book reservations til you check in so you won’t get one your first night. Only 2 out of the 3 restaurants are actually open. I made reservations one night and when I went to the restaurant at my reservation time, it was closed. I went to the main desk and was told there was a problem and that they opened up another restaurant because of this and that they would seat me. I went down to this other restaurant and was told I could not sit because they were fully booked- so the manager outright lied. Ended up spending $30 on taxis and $200 on dinner elsewhere because we were tired of the same buffet food and had been looking forward to a traditional sit down dinner. At check out I asked for a manager to discuss all of the problems that I had but was told there was no manager on site and no one had the authority to make any adjustments. Don’t waste your money here. You’ll be upset and frustrated your entire stay. I wish I had stayed home, it would’ve been more relaxing.

Same as last visit, the "customer service" at the front desk is lacking. Not sure why, but they just are not very friendly or accommodating. Literally ALL of the rest of the staff is phenomenal. You cannot stay there and leave without knowing at least one person's name. This year, they had introduced the App to make dinner reservations and whatnot, but it was not working and we were sent in circles to try to make a reservation .. ended up going directly to the restaurant we wanted to eat at and they were great.

I could not ever possibly say enough about the "Entertainment" staff at GR. They are out at the pool all day, interacting with all the guests, getting ppl involved in fitness, games, and fun .. they make you feel like family! This was our second visit and it did not disappoint! The place itself is nice, the food is good, and the location is fantastic. The shows are so worth catching .. *especially* the Rock Icons show .. Transportation is easily accessible and there are always excursions to enjoy.. or relax by the beautiful pool and beach.. you cannot go wrong. Also, the bus is super inexpensive and quite fun :)

I didn't like the way they served the food at the pool bar. They could've let people just go and grap foods, but we had to ask every single time to get seved instead. It was so silly. It's a waste of time and energy for both guests and chefs as well. It's just another way of saving foods. Compared to the Royal Solaris Hotel, which is cheaper, they have less type of food. We reserved the ocean view room, but it was kidna side ocean view, not fully front view ocean view which is not worth.

What I like the most was the entertainment at night. It was so full of energy and passion. The restaurant was fine.

The rooms are conjoined ( on the ride I was on at least) Which would be ok, except at first I was room next to a couple with twins who cried all night. So the first 2 nights I got no sleep and I can hear everything… but the front desk was very accomendating and changed my room as soon as I requested. Even put my things into the new room for us while we were out!

Loved my room on the Lagoon side! An excellent view and better for me than the oceafront view which was a much more active. But the oceanfront Is fine if you don't mind it. The location was perfect. It's a ways down from the main strip, but easy to get to other sights on the strip by bus! Only 1 dollar and the stop was in front of the hotel. The mall is only 8 mine by bus. The service and the people were excellent! The food was great with many options included free all night room service and a deli. The restaurants were also a hit! I went to Kai and Marco polo. But yiu night need some help reserving at the front desk. The QR code did not always work! The room was very comfortable and had a complemtarty little mini bar with soda. This hotel was super clean and beautiful. My room had 2 queen beds and a murphy bed. The nightly entertainment was phenomenonal and the best I've seen, with lots variety. Everything was super fun. The beach was amazing. The activities at the pool was fun especially the water aerobics. There was a really nice gym as well. 2 huge pools. Seems to be good for all types of travelers from solos to families. It was the best all inclusive I have stayed at so far and I have been to many! I would recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained. The beachfront is gorgeous with lots of beach chairs & umbrellas. There are 3 pool area including one adults only that is away from the noisier pool/bar activities. We enjoyed barista coffees available in “deli”.

The food was really suboptimal. Lack of Mexican flavours all-together, bad quality food even in the restaurants that require reservation. It was a disappointment. Also lack of cultural programme at the hotel of this class. People come to enjoy also a cultural experience, but it was not there. We ended up eating outside even though we paid all inclusive deal. The number of sunbathing beds on the beach was far less that people needing it, so it was a daily struggle to find the spare bed.

The location was really great, beautiful sea, white sand beach. The recommendations on tours were helpful. Rooms were clean, though our request for two bed in the room were not met. Staff was very attentive, friendly, alway with a smile and good information to share.

The front staff were rude and didn't want to help us with our booking, nor gave us details of our stay. The welcome was the worse. It was a bad experience. I would not recommend this hotel. I need to get a hold of booking.com and I need a phone number. The hotel said, booking.com LIED and deceived us. I need an answer!
