There is a coffee maker in the room, but you have to buy your own coffee to make coffee. Not the property’s fault but there is the Barracuda Bar across the street that plays VERY LOUD music until midnight every night, except Monday. Also the TV reception was horrible, not that we go on vacation to watch TV, but it would have been nice to watch something if you wanted.

The breakfast has lots of options to choose from with 1 juice and endless coffee or tea. The fruit is fresh and was delicious. The location of the hotel was perfect for the beach as it was just across the street. So easy to carry the umbrella and chairs that the hotel supplied. However it was safe 10 minute walk to the Malecon. We enjoy walking so it was easy.

A little farther from the Malecon than the name suggests, but still very walkable!

The views are wonderful. Unobstructed, the rooftop pool, awesome! The upper patio even better! We arrived a little early, they gave us popsicles and got us in to the room a little early. The staff is amazing!

The hotel allowed 9 girls on spring break to stay in one room on our floor. Was very noisy at 3 - 4:30 AM for two nights before things settled down. Shouldn't put families and senior couples on same floor as party girls.

The rooms, the view from the rooms and the rooftop pool, the staff, the breakfast, and Alberto, manning the pool restaurant were all exceptional.

What a treasure this hotel is, right in old Puerto Vallarta, steps from the Malecon. We loved our room - looking right over the ocean! Sitting upstairs at the pool with a cold drink watching the pelicans fly by was a dreamy.

The breakfast dining room is quite small and sometimes there is a wait to get a table. The pool isn't in from on the beach, like I expected from the fotos. It's a rooftop pool with a view of the sea. The rooftop snack bar is very primitive (not a full kitchen). It's a 30 minute walk to the Romantic Zone.

Clean and well located in Puerto Vallarte. The breakfast is delicious and the front lobby staff are very helpful and friendly. It felt very safe, and comfortable. The drinks on the rooftop were tasty.

I knew coming in that it would be a bit noisy with the Barracuda across the street. It wasn’t bad at all. It isn’t every night either.

Very well maintained building. Rooftop pool is great. Open and bright foyer. Beautiful walkways, and designs on walls and stairs. The deck off the ocean facing rooms is perfect for spotting whales, watching the sunset and the fireworks each evening.

Breakfast runs from 8-10:30, since it starts late if you have any day tours planned you are not able to have breakfast at hotel.

Great staff and location. Short walk from grocery store which has ATM with low withdrawal fees. Directly across the street from beach, hotel has umbrellas and chairs to borrow. Pool was nice. Breakfast was okay.

The hotel is located right on the beach the rooms are super comfortable and includes a kitchenette. The description can be slightly confusing on booking because it says one bedroom one living room but it’s just one room. The couch is a small two seater, not big enough for a person to sleep on so make sure to book a room with 2 beds if you are traveling with kids.

The snack bar was supposed to open at noon, but on the day we were leaving they didn't open until 20 minutes later, so we weren't able to grab a snack before going to the airport. Minor inconvenience.

The breakfast was very nice with a few different options to choose from daily. The location is excellent, close to the beach and the Malecon with several restaurants within a short walk. Our room was very clean and had a small kitchenette, which was handy. We really liked the rooftop terrace, it had a great view of the city and the ocean. The hotel is very charming and the staff were excellent.
